Bicycle Menace in Doha

Nowadays when driving through any busy roads of Doha lot of bicycles are seen. They are being used mostly by asian nationalities in a very dangerous way,
Zig- Zagging between motorists especially when we wait at Traffic signals. They use both sides of the road. I think all motorists should have 100% attention on all four sides to avoid impending dangers. Are bicycles allowed on Doha roads. Pls comment

that things haven't changed and that the biggest danger at roundabouts (if there are any left) is the bikes coming onto the roundabouts from the right and going the wrong way. It always made a mockery of checking left before entering the roundabout

those poor people on bikes are taking their lives in their hands every time they go on the roads.

I think it this issue should be reviewed once again by the traffic enforcers, coz it seems this people doesn't care about the rules & regulation for the cyclist. As far as I know, it was implemented before that all cyclist are not allowed to drive on the busy highways and they should wear proper protective gears.

Now, they are all flown all over Doha, and I haven't seen anyone being caught by the police for not following the rule.

Who do you think should be blamed on this issue?

they're allowed but with certain rules and regulations...sheesh they should really make a bicycle lane for them..

last night one guy came flying in and swerved right in front of us to avoid a speed bump..my mom had to apply her brakes full on, we literally flew out of the window because of the force of the brakes..

they need serious street awareness classes
