Bhavans school in Wakrah

Don't even think of admitting your kids in Bhavans. India bhavans standard is a different story. Bhavans in wakrah has a very low standard. Principal is very poor in communication and has no leadership skills. He can't even make a complete statement in good english. I had my kid till early 2011. The teachers are not interested in teaching. I am saying this because it reflects in their classwork books correction. My kid has written answer for 5+2= 9 and the teacher has put a correct sign. This shows how much interested the teachers are in teaching. Go visit the school and you will find it is managed by very low standards of people. Lot of admission are taking place in this school because the fees are comparatively less and proximity of school to lot of indian residents staying in Wakrah especially in Ezdan.

I AGREE TO ONLY SOME OF THE POINTS STATED ABOVE BY OTHER USERS. I WENT TO THIS SCHOOL IN APRIL 2011 FOR SEEKING ADMISSION FOR MY KIDS. THE RECEPTIONIST ASKED ME TO MEET THE ACADEMIC COORDINATOR.I WAITED IN FRONT OF HER ROOM FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES.WHEN ASKED,THE RECEPTIONIST SHOWED ME A LADY WHO WAS RUNNING HERE AND THERE. SHE NEVER SITS IN HER ROOM AND ALWAYS WANDERING HERE AND THERE AND SHE DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME AND DIDN'T GIVE ME PROPER ANSWERS.

I FELT THAT MOST OF THE TEACHERS ARE OVER PRESSURISED AND I COULDN'T FIND ANY SMILING FACE IN THAT SCHOOL.

Salafi's comment on Bhavans Public School after an 8 months  gap shows his hidden agenda. As a parent of 2 students who are studying in the said school, I  got  to share a very good experience with all of you. Bhavans school  is a school with a very good scientific and psychological approach in dealing with the students and in teaching learning process. I found that  the school  is following a very scientific teaching methods and maintaining healthy teacher- student ratio. Also a school  which started remedial teaching effectively for all special attention needed students with out  charging any fees and  there by giving a great deal of  relief  to the parents by avoiding  the search for special tutions to their wards . As far as your comment on the Principal's communication skill is concerned,if you meant  about the new Principal, it is surely with some hidden agenda. The present Principal  is a highly qualified person with lot of experience in the field of education . Also I got  many  opportunities to  understand his knowledge and presentation skills .I believe he is the only Principal conducted a series of  seminars on various educational topics  for the   parents not only of   their School but also for all  those  who were interested to attend the same  irrespective of their School affiliation. I personally attended those seminars , each one with a duration  of  3- 4 hours. He also had shown a special skill in answering  all  the questions asked by different  parents very effectively.Hence ,I urge all  the parents to judge for  themselves on such issues.

I strongly believe that what camrydoha2011stated is having  any  base.my children are studing in Bhavns Public School and I have verified the school diary. But I couldn't find the photograph of even one person otherthan the required informations in the diary. which shows camry's criminal attitude.

Its clear to me that the OP and CamryDoha have got hidden agenda's here. This is a decent new school trying to make its way in a difficult and challenging market - it seems to me that sullying its reputation is easily done - the schools results will eventually speak volumes.

How do you define a criminal? Through hear say, substantial appraisal or suppose court of law?.

As I am aware, the school term at Bhavans finished in June and the next one will start on September 12.

Are you seriously telling us that you are so disappointed with this school and the standards that you have waited nearly 3 months to report your unhappiness on here??

I am personally REAL spectical of reports like this on schools and firmly believe in getting down to the school and sitting in front of the management of ANY school if I am to entrust my son/daughter to them. In the case of Bhavans, I have done this and have interviewed the Principal at length - I flatter myself that I can recognise poor communication and poor use of English - as I do in the case of the OP. I must say that during a 30 minute discussion, I recognise non of the traits that are being espoused here in respect to the Principal of Bhavans.

In respect to the fees, I am not aware that the fee structure is so very diferent to those of similar Indian schools in Doha.

I would urge parents to judge for themselves in all school issues which concern their kids and not be influenced by emotive rants on public forums!!.

Yes. I agree. They just want to make money. I was browsing through the school diary and saw photographs of people who are running the school. They all look like criminals. Qatari government would be least bothered about putting checks and controls to curb these money making monsters. We have save our kids future.
