Which one do you think?

Matar Qadeem/Old Airport, Wakra, Al Sadd, Ummsaid, Al Khor, West Bay etc.

I think Matar Qadeem.

I've started putting together a google maps - my places thingy that i'll try and put all the most useful locations on. Not sure how far I'll get with it. I'm sure others have already done the same.

Is there a online map for the mentioned places?

Is where I live, not much round there, for an example its a 20 walk to the Ramada Cross roads.

I'm going to be moving to sky scraper land about 5 minutes from the city centre in about 3 weeks. Guess I'll be making more trips to the sheraton then! Eek don't think I can keep forking out £4.75 a pint!

Its depend upon various factors

If yur children are school going then the place near to their school (Matar Qadeem for mostly Asains)

AlKhor for persons working in Ras Laffan etc.

For me Al-Saad/ Bin Omran is good

Al Saad is the best of all the places mentioned...in my humble view of course

All places are generally same with no major difference. Only the type of houses change. It depends on the type of accommodation you would like to have e.g. if you want to live in a 2 bed appt, you wont be having a lot of choices in west bay but al sadd is full of such places.

Al Saad is also not bad.... Old Airport is a bit far.

Al saad probably will be your best bid unless money is not an issue them westbay

Al Mansoura ... is the area where we live. It is in the middle of the town, but the place is old.

Yes ... West Bay are unaffordable :-(
