Secondly, I will appreciate if any holy soul can list down the good places by chronological order which will help me to negotiate with my employer after understanding their budget ;-) ;-)
I will be joining an UK based company as Sales-Manager and my office is situated in Old Salata.
It all depends on your budget. If your comapany will pay you more QR20k for accomodation then Westbay maybe a a better option. If your accomodation allowance is around QR10k then you better off somewhere else.. All depends on what you want a Villa or a flat etc etc.
So you will have to wait and see when you get here..
if u r working on raslafan then live on wakra and if u r working on mesaid then live on al-khor and if on industrial area then on dukhan.... you will have a nice drive..
since company is providing accomodation, you will not have a choice. Anyways, most parts of doha are fine. the "best place" is near your work to avoid traffic.
