I tried almost all the dishes (except for the Indian and Mexican)....

The JAPANESE bar was great, mongolian was awesome, the cakes and sweets are a killer and even their pot beef roast was so juicy and tender...even the seafood dishes are great.

That day I forgot I'm on diet and diabetic....coz i was gorging...lol

Marhaba also produce a guide book, as well as the map. Both are indispensable.

My vested interest isn't that great really, it's just that the poll was my idea and I created it, and I like to see the number of votes ticking upwards!

By Arien• 17 Jul 2008 11:16

I have the Marhaba Map already in ma car. It really helps, am still to learn the roads. and the traffic rules and fines are too much too..

Dnt wana end up transfering fund from back home to clear the debts here ...lol

By the way .. whats the vested interest you mentioned bro?? promoting any hotel or some publication??...LOL

Thanks mate

You should get Marhaba as well. It has a lot of inaccuracies, but it's still pretty much the bible for people in Doha. I reckon 50% of queries on QL could be answered by just looking in Marhaba or QH magazines.

Will check the search Tallg.. thanks

But

''Stop spoon feeding, let them find it themself'' .. that was a bit rude to a new one :(

By tallg• 17 Jul 2008 10:45

lol DaRuDe. I have a vested interest in the poll, so I was spoon feeding for the same reasons as Gypsy.

Arien, no probs, though the search facility on QL is pretty good at finding what you want.

Marriott, Movenpick or Intercon. Intercon's got a special kids cooking class, and Movenpick's got a kids play area.
