The Sequoia seems to be a rival to the Ford Expedition. It has three full row seating and is geared for the big family, rather than offroading.

Its available both in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

Hmmm, all those used Sequoias and or all the unsold Sequoias from the US will be making their "debut" here, I bet.

cruiser2783 "Eventhough its huge, it doesn have 4 wheel drive"

- What's the point of having a huge car if it doesn't have practical features of substance? 4WD, ABS. Btw, a huge vehicle is difficult to manoeuvre and impractical. I like my current trusty old car. Not too big but big enough for reasonable safety.

/Ok, I know. Get off this thread!!! Only for car aficionados.

//Pink Kia - still THE new age man's choice wheels ;0)

The Sequoia has been available in the North American Market for several years, there was a write up a while back that Toyota was going to debut these here in the Middle East to try and keep their North American plants running as the market for the gas guzzling SUV has pretty much dried up in the US.

And yes they do come in 4 wheel drive. Will be intresting to see how this North American build vehicle will stand up to the punishment of the dunes...

Sequoia is the biggest car ever made by Toyota and it competes GMC. Eventhough its huge, it doesn have 4 wheel drive, the only drawback of the car i would say. It launches here today and there will be a display at villagio from 10th feb onwards.

Looks like it has good fuel economy. It even looks angry and pissed-off. I hope the front bumper bar has been tested for resistance to labourers body parts.

Oh, wait, is that a xenon headlight flashing in my rear view mirror?
