Attention Lullabelle re stray cats
Lullabelle I tried to answer your question on the question page but it would not let me submit for some reason.
Ring Dr Mahmoud on 567 9562. This is a gov. org. that employs the trap neuter return policy. I think it is free.
They will give you a trap box and will collect the next morning between 7 and 11. Then once op is done they will return the cats.
Good luck
I think that kittens have to be at least 6 weeks old and before 6 months as they become 'socially' active around then.Check that with the vet though. I don't think they will do the mum whilst she is nursing. But again check that out as it might be different here.
Xena I believe they do clip the ear automatically but again as with all things in Doha, check it out.
I found the Doha Vets (listed in Maharba) very helpful re strays. They will MOT them and neuter them for a discounted price also. They will also lend you a cat box in advance to bring said cat to vet if you need one.
Good luck.
I love cats but I can never eat a whole one in one sitting.
Desert Witch
but it wouldn't accept the answer.
Do remember to ask them to clip the ear too, that way they know for sure they are stray cats.
The Animal Resources Department is on the corner of Airport Road and E-Ring (old parashute roundabout) road.

I am so glad you responded and I found this! I have a stray cat that had a male kitten about 6 weeks ago. They have become very comfortable in our courtyard since we have been feeding them. I would love to get the mamma cat spayed and the kitten neutered. Do you, by chance, know how soon the procedure can be done after delivery?
I appreciate your feedback...I guess I should call the vet to ask specific questions...just curious if you have information regarding how soon after delivery the op can be done.
Million thanks!
