Atif Aslam Live in Concert

A concert featuring top Pakistani pop singer Atif Aslam, Lebanese singer Brigitte Yaghi and the Paris House Addict (PHA) trio will be held at The Ritz Carlton Island on July 22 from 9pm.
Being presented by Qtel and Virgin Megastore, the ‘Desert Fusion’ concert follows a performance in Dubai which drew 3,000 fans, an official said.
Born in Wazirabad and educated in Lahore and Rawalpindi, Aslam has sung a string of Bollywood hits and pop numbers.
Yaghi, who grew up in a musical family in Hadath, Lebanon, was a finalist in the Arabian version of American Idol at the age of 16. Her debut single Albi w Omri was recorded with Ray Kay, who has worked for stars such as Beyonce and Lady Gaga.
Paris trio PHA have performed with artistes from around the world.
RJ Abhijeet will anchor the show while UAE-based DJ Zubair will also feature, officials said.
“Qtel is sponsoring the event as part of its ongoing summer fun campaign, designed to fuel a sense of real excitement over the summer season,” an official said.
Desert Fusion is being organised by the event management division of Dot Vision, Doha and Milestone Entertainment (Dubai).
Gulf Times is the official media sponsor of the event.
Tickets, priced at QR125 and QR325, will be available at leading outlets from Saturday.
