Aren't You Tired of Racial Arguments?....

No matter what the topic is, as soon as the thread goes on...it will boil down to racial issues.

I guess world peace is not just a dream but a fiction.

The Key is "RESPECT"...and the way you carry your self. No matter what race you belong...We still have our individuality..so to generalize a particular race with the fault of some individuals is totally idiotic.

Stick with the golden rule...

"don't do unto others what you don't want them do unto you"

anyway gypsy I farted when I read your joke, now my boss is in a comma..

Don't make this kind of thread, ergo, nobody would react and bash each other....

What about the 100 years war, The numerous other wars, Mireille Mathieu , striped T-Shirts, onions, Citroen 2 CV, french farmers, and not least the fallen madonna with the big boobies..

See, that's half the problem. Because of all the different cultures on QL jokes are often misconstrued as insults, even the obvious ones like Gypsy's (very funny btw :), and before you know it the thread snowballs into a racial slur slanging match.

By Gypsy• 5 Mar 2009 11:33

I'm being sarcastic. Trying to make a joke. I only said Filipinos because from my experience they are one of the only nationalities on this forum with a good sense of humor.

pinoyaccountant: Little did you know Filipino farts can be used as a hallucinagenic drug. Filipino's are immune, so they don't notice it. But Bush was heavily addicted to farts (hence why he was full of hot air) and his "highs" led to many wrong decisions on his part.

I enjoy have discussions on cultural differences, it helps to understand them, but I don't like when they turn insulting.

I just don't know why Filipinos won't admit that their tears cause cancer and that they're farting is the reason for the current economic crisis. I mean it's not an insult if it's the truth. :P

some thought are normal to their culture but very offensive to others. There are some lingo that others use, maybe without real bad intention (but even that is debatable). If only we can argue without saying a**hole, wtf, wth, d***head, and Mods will implement strictly on these "unwanted" words, maybe we could have a good argument here!

But there are really some people out there (as pointed out by Alexa) who really s***s and when you react will eventually cries foul! Good morning everybody!

Racial profiling; generalizations; playing the Race Card-----

It all gets OLD!

Another Pinoy racist comment:

The Filipino people are great people, what they lack is height.

I felt like a giant walking among dwarfs in the Mall of Asia.

Lucky for me, I adore my pinoy girlfriend, her mind and logic is of great statue

She did introduce to cook many strange meals for which I love to eat. Specially the many versions of pancit noodles and adobo.

Since them, Her culinary ways have change, Why? I introduce her to my culinary secrets. I cook know , she washes the dishes later.

you first started it when you name names such as calling me a nutter (and bading too) just because you wanted a point. And you still have the guts to say education. Cast the first stone to the sinner then.

The issue is closed to me already since yesterday and apology has been done to you and to spike124.

Peace and I mean it.

I dont mind as long as it is discuss in a decent manner with professionalism and without generalizing the whole continent. I always have the thoughts that every race/nationality have their negative and positive aspects. So, being a Filipina, I am not offended when somebody says for example: "THERE ARE Filipina prostitutes",....so???? Its true! But I would react if somebody say "Filipina are prostitutes" coz that's an idiotic comment from a kiddo mentality.

This my racial Pinoy comment:

In the Philippines in every villa , town and city there is hundred of water distillation and purification business, in every corner you could think about. i believe that every Filipino has a degree of racism towards the water supply provided by the state locally. Yet, is the same water they use to filter and sell in different plastic containers with different brands.

Yet, the tap water is safe for consumption. I rather buy some property with a deep well for my own use.

The problem is I think you’re an overeducated, 27-year-old virgin who holds the hands of superstitious old women and promises them eternity.
