Are computers and electronics expensive in Qatar?

I'm in Cairo now and I'll be moving to Doha in a month.

My wife wants a laptop. Egypt has duty on all imports, so it would be more expensive here than in Canada.

What is Doha like for laptops? Someone mentioned that a Mac would be more than at home, but what about a PC laptop?

And how about all the other electronic goodies, TV and stereos?
