its one month and more since i signed the contract with AJE and still the visa is not issued, does anyone have experience in the Visa issues, and tell me why such delays occure, knowing that i am Lebanese...

Hello all!

I'll be heading to Doha the first in May for permanent employment. I want to know how to make sure I'm not taxed for the salary I make in Qatar by Revenue Canada.

I know I have to be declared a non-resident and there is a questionnaire I can fill out to see if I can qualify as a Canadian non-resident. What has your experience been on that?

What steps should I take??

I don't own a home in Canada. I have a car on lease I haven't been able to get rid of and debt I am paying through monthly installments, so I can't close my bank account. I've been told to cancel my credit cards, drivers licence and medicare card before moving out there.

What are your suggestions??
