Anybody watching the Paralympics ?
Any body watching the paralympics..
These men/women are realy awesome.. Even with their disabilities, they have amazing drive and will to win..
Just saw a Canadian Chantal petticlerk win the 100m in a wheel chair..
Really bubbly woman with arms bigger than Rafa Nadal's serving arm..
I am continually inspired by the drive and determination of the paralympians. They are simply awesome.

even though they lack something physically, God certainly made sure that they still can be whole...they have such amazing talents...
...day as a Patissie (sp) for his own cakes & deserts company, often for 15 hrs at a stretch!
Won't sit in his office as he loves what he does.
Talk about single-minded regardless of adversity!!
I never met him when he had both legs, but his late Mother told me that in so many ways his accident was the making of him as a human-being!
That took my breath away!
The spirit of competition is clearly alive & well & whether able-bodied or disabled, we as a race thrive on that.
These people are the ones who've committed themselves to proving that they can be the best in their field.

Hats off to your brother in law.. I think more people should watch the paralympics to really appreciate how lucky they are, but to also admire these people in competition..

yeah they are amazing.. i used to be a volunteer back in college to assist special children on a special minilympics back home...
Watched a little yesterday, personally i think they should have this before the main event rather than after it, don't you?
My bro-in-law has one leg, lost the other one in a motorcycle accident & he is ultra-competitive about everything & that's against able-bodied friends etc!
