really!? I don't suspect it's an issue of the company unless it's a security concern. I work for an intl company based out of the US and we have perminate expat women also. Not sure why, maybe it is just misconception. Intresting!

mp5050 I'm sure it's not about her name (I guess the moi people are clueless about jewish names),

Getting a visa depends on the kind of visa, some are difficult to get for womenit could also be some bias from whoever was sponsoring her, someone in the company didn't like it.

I have a friend that I suggested for a job out here btu I was told that she could not get a visa because of her jewish last name (katzman)! From the post here it seems that this may be untrue???

being from israel doesn't mean being jewish.. there are a lot christians and muslims in israel, there are druzes and bahais as well...

Eve, Zionists are NOT the Fanatics of the Jewish faith.

Zionists are thoses who support the reestablishment of a homeland for the Jewish People in Palestine.

It is unlikely that you will find many Jewish people in an Arab Country. Those that are in Qatar will be attached to the Embassy or Trade Centre so suggest you contact them, I am sure that they will have access to Jewish CLubs and Gatherings.

heero_yuy2 How could you judge that I am a pro-Holocaust by jusy saying that there are jews in here.!!? you just sound like a pro-zionist (sorry for saying pro) who accuse people of anti semitism and being pro-Holocaust for no reason other than that they are themselves Anti-Human.

The Israeli Trade Office basically and Israeli Embassy is here and so are many private Israeli and Jewish individuals that work for the oil companies and the Universities. Many MiddleEastern countries have Jewish communities even Iraq had. Most Arabs do not dislike Jews only the group calling themselves Zionists who are the Fanatics of the Jewish faith.
