ASTROTURFING? Have I/we mentioned some kind of formal political, advertising, or public relations campaigns seeking to create the impression of being spontaneous "grassroots" behavior?

do we look like campaigning that sounds like disguising the efforts of a political or commercial entity as an independent public reaction to some political entity—a politician, political group, product, service or event. Do we sounds like attempting to orchestrate the actions of apparently diverse and geographically distributed individuals, by both overt ("outreach", "awareness", etc.) and covert (disinformation) means. Astroturfing may be undertaken by an individual pushing a personal agenda or highly organized professional groups with financial backing from large corporations, non-profits, or activist organizations. Very often the efforts are conducted by political consultants who also specializes over something. I hope we can do that but i guess we are just too naive for that. I am for one just talking about some kind of a simple way of life.

Indeed you always have the right to your own opinion.

Dumaguete a cheese? Cheesy could only be one's thought and interpretation. Google Dumaguete ngourlay. may help you think too cheesy.

Cheers!

Hmmm, Dumaguete.

I think I'll try it. Is it a type of cheese?

This thread looks suspiciously like astroturfing.

Thanks borge! Very kind info.

I am from Palawan, working here in Qatar. Actually, it is my son whom i need to Silliman. He passed the entrance before but wasnt able to send him there due to financial constraints, but now i am already here in Qatar, guess i can already afford it.

Palawan is too far from Dumague.I dont know anyone in Dumaguete and i have no idea bout Dumaguete. This gives me some reservation too before to send him there but having heard so much about this place, i feel better and confident for him.

You are one hero for your sibling seeing him through his educ. You will be blessed! Silliman is not for your before i believe that's why you werent able to get there. I do believe that things happen for a cause. You werent able to make it to Silliman for a good purpose. You may came to think of it once you look back and find the reason.

thanks once again for the great info. You have a lovely day!

Cheers!

If U choose to enroll in Siliman, like Nursing, for Freshmen & Second year they should stay in a Dormitory exclusively for boys & girls.... its a requirement.... food in the cafeteria are well provided. AC rooms are also available, internet access are also there... since students now are trendy with expensive mobiles & a laptop... situated within the University Campus. Its realy SAFE for a new comer. Then 3rd year level they are advise to move out from the Dormitory and stay out side from the University. but u can get same dormitory outside with same facilities & with security on duty...

hope it will help... u can also check the website given above....

Nice! Heard so much about this conducive-to-learning place. Great!

How about the dorms? Can you recommend a reasonable dorm with internet access at least, clean and close to SILLIMAN?

looking forward for more info from u.

Living in Dumaguete is just wonderful, peaceful environment, less night life comparing to big cities. Almost half in area were occupied by Siliman University.

Actually i been to that place 2x only, year 1997 @ year 2007.. just a visit.

Since my investment here abroad is to let our youngest brother finish his Nursing Degree in Siliman University.

He started his 1st year and now thanks God he is in his 3rd year college. With good civilization, proper values as a person. Really, Am just so proud of him.

There is also St. Paul University where my other brother is studying now.

Advise you to visit the place... you can go by land 4 hours from Cebu or by ferry for 1 & half hour... (not sure) i already the travel time.

Its really GOOD!
