Is it possible to get a visa ( tourist/visit) for a person above 60 years of age to qatar?

Yes it is possibe but difficult. Go to the passport offices at the airport and ask to speak to the officer in charge. If you appeal to him and he signs the visa application then you will have no problem.

Your other option is to speak to one of the hotels to make the application for you but they charge a fee in addition to the visa fees. it will be a tourist visa for 2 weeks which can be extended for a further 2 weeks.

Someone over 60 is going to make it here, once they off the plane and past the first roundabout? these roads isnt made for the faint hearted and people over 60 should rather avoid it if they want to live another 30 years or so
