but 'racist" doesn't really apply unless your issue is actually "race".

How one defines Racism??

HALves: I would call this Tolerance Level. Yours is very low in respect of the particular nationality you mentioned. We all have different levels of tolerance for almost everything. Some we tolerate some we don't.

Having said this, can I suggest you ask your countrymen how they feel about that nationality you dislike a lot? May be the problem is you and not them.

Also, as much as you dislike these people, may be they too they dislike you as much or even more. Have you thought about this? Have you tried to be nice to them? May be if you do, you will find them very friendly and you may even end up enjoying some of their food too. Lol.

You took the words right out of my mouth Brit. Hell in some countries hating the French is a national pass time.

That would only mean... your contact with people from the rest of the world is limited.

You have to come out of your shell to find out that there is an a55hole in all nationality...

Not everybody is great... nor is everybody evil...

Hating the French cannot really be regarded as racism..

I agree with FathimaH as for me it is a form of racism.

There are good and bad people in every race. As much as it is good to try and get on and respect people; sometimes we just don't.

As long as you don't generalize that EVERYONE from that nationality is the same, you're OK.

Don't be so harsh on yourself..it just so happened by God's will that you met a few people of x nationality who you dislike for hopefully justifiable reasons. I'm sure you must have felt dislike towards people of other nationalities including your own too somewhere in your life, yes? Just know that there are good and bad people everywhere and just cos you've met more of the "bad" from one set don't mistreat all of the people you meet from among them due to the misdeeds of some. My two cents!

Race and nationality are two different things.

perhaps you're just a bigot.
