All Qatar Signal Radar are Speed Radar also

Please inform us about those devices and how/where can we bring them to doha .. to avoid such annoying technology called "Radar"

There is a spray that i found on ebay .. it will create like a lamination transparent layer on your plate number ..

when the flash will fire .. it will bounce it back so they can't see the number .. but not safe enough as they can still see your car description and they can easily get you in ur renewal ..

if u have any idea about fooling the radar devices .. or detect the "Hidden ones" .. that will be really great

there are radar cheater....

Its just a normal procedure all the speed camera companies are following, don’t know if its new to Qatar… or here they have some different rules…

Speed Limits...

+5 activation system, like if the maximum speed on the road is 80 then radar will only be active if you are crossing 85 and if the speed limit is more than 100 then there is a grace speed of 5%...

one day i notiched one strange thing in Ramada signal.

i was not sure what happend..

but i can assume that, cars were pressing horn and the camera was falshing for more than 3 times...

so, be careful to give horn in front of the radar

because there is new rule for giving horn

and it's 300 QR

Every 8 out of 10 Qatari Talk on mobile without Handfree even Now........ & Drive high Speed in Small Lane where you should drive bellow 50 Km/hr... Do you all Agree?

R u sure that the speed limit was 80 and not 60 ???

What i  know very well is the Radar system doesn't start in green blinking or yellow.

and by the way you can still jump over the red in 2 seconds

How the system works?

system is not working untill in turns red it counts 2 seconds then start the radar system to work ...

Why there is 2 seconds? if it turns red on someone who were already in the yellow Zibra area he shouldn't be trapped cuz he didn't jump over a red it turned red just after he passed .. so it gives 2 seconds after turning Red ..

Why did the flash trapped me on yellow?

Any system  has its bugs and it could be just a bug .. i have been flashed on yellow but i checked my Violation to find Nothing .. scarlett check urs and it will show nothing and if there is any penalty you have the right to complain and the picture should show that u passed in yellow (I'm assuming u were not over speeding)

Beind scared might harm you and your family? How?

if u find the green blinking do not hesitate take a decission quickly and don't change it under any circumstance ... Why? cuz when u plan to pass the signals some ppl r behind u planned to go just behind u ... if u suddenly stopped being scared of the high penalty the behind car will hit u ...

and in the back seat it might be ur kid or wife ...

so at that time u have to choose pay penalty or lose your kid (family member) so i advice u to pay the fines better than losing or hurting someone ..

obewan...I know...I think its termpermental..most times it doesn't flash and i'm doing about 80..guess it was PMSing that morning.

Oriental...most should have buffers..I think, like a lot of things around here, they have their moments where they have a glitch in them.

Normally there should be some buffer on Speed Limit like 5-10 + km/Hr on Camera to click.. How do we change lane if all around you drive at maximum speed limit of road...I guess we have to Increase Speed to Change lane & not Reduce I hope Traffic people Driving Rule Basics are Clear?????????

Scarlett i was down there last night doing around 75-80 kph and the radar did not flash on me. guess am just lucky

Was driving down by Rainbow roundabout, doing 75(speed limit is 80) and the darn radar camera clicked me!!! NO one was around me, so it HAD to be me...

I still not Trust the camera specially when multiple Car going on Yellow Blinking.

You there are many Accident when we try stoping in Yellow or Green Blink, when Car behind you dont stop,............But I guess Accident are cheaper then Signal Jumping...........Fine...

ARe they really fining it Qr 10000 per Signal Jumping even if by chance you jump as your judge might go wrong just because the Car in front slow down without any reasons

 there are conditions. if you cross the signal line and it gets yellow no splash.

 and there is a speed limit on each cam or radar. 60km/h ad 80km/h depends on that road speed limit. so you better just be at 60km/h. never trust those cam.

I dont think it Flashes on when you pass Yellow..

If anyone notice there are Sensor on the Road near the Zebra Cross at Signal which are buried in road if you cross them when the Signal are Red then only I beleive it Clicks.......

But I am still Doubt how reasonable is  Blinking time for Green & yellow light for the bigger Signal, They do not provide enough time to Cross when the Green Light Blink/

yeah better be careful, specially on Grand Hamad Street the radar are very notorious in flashing those cameras :(
