Dear Friend,
Has anyone ever been to Afghanistan for vacation or work? Is it a place wrote a visit. For some reason I am fascinated by the place, culture and people. Though with the dangerous situation, I’m very willing to take the risk and be there for a vacation. Advice and suggestions, much appreciated.
Thanks

Afghanistan is a nice historic place to visit. A lot of antique items and semi-precious gemstones that you can bargain at Shara-e-now St. Check also the provinces of Mazar-e-Sharif and Bamiyan. They have beautiful mosques and lakes that is pristine and untouched by developers. Just be careful on landmines. If you intend to visit Afghanistan as a tourist, I would advice to get a local afghani as a tourist guide. Dont forget to give respect to their culture especially when it comes to wearing skimpy clothes. Afghani people are friendly if you are friendly with them. Just dont forget to always be safe and be careful to where you are gonig. Ask for travel advices from embassies and international companies about the places you plan to go. Opt to go for KamAir rather than Ariana Afghan Airlines. Good luck and enjoy Afghanistan.
