Well written ... a good read and a lesson on how to complain without using abusive language or insulting any nationality ... well done Paul Rhys

I think these are the same Police, with a stick in hand, who drive all the bachelors from the Cornish on Weekends.

Acknowledging a mistake is the first step in correcting it and if the organisers are saying there wasn't anyone without a ticket inside, fans locked outside came after the match started or were without tickets then how will they ever improve.

Every year in Emir cup final, people with tickets are left out (Once when I came 90 minutes prior to the match) but to do it in an international event is simply unacceptable but shoulders will be shrugged and it will carry on just like this.

I was so happy and proud that inspite of all odds, the country that I made my temporary home in, had won the bid. I got caught up in all the excitement of my kids having the chance to see their idols close up. And I hoped that Qatar would take the opportunity provided by this Asian Cup to prove to the doubters that Yes she can do it. This country was given a golden chance to show she had the capability, but thanks to a few inept, myopic officials Qatar has now become the laughing stock of the world :(

In one night all the hard work that the Olympic Commitee put in over the years, squandered. Even now instead of learning from the experience and taking corrective measures, what do they do, brush it underneath the carpet.

They have 11 years, but there is much to do. And if they don't get rid of this Khaly Wally attitude, they will end up with egg on their faces. What has happened has happened, but for God's sake get moving, and utilise your potential

I'm speechless :(

Speak out people, an proper investigation and a sincere apology is the least expected from the organizers. Regardless of their number, the videos of people stranded outside is horrifying

But it is the arrogance of the organisers and the way ligit fans who had travelled half way around the world to be denied entry at the expense of some stupid local organisers decision to refuse them entry.

Shame on the organisers you have done nothing but brought shame to your country, Atleast have the courtsey to say SORRY and put your hands up and apologise for your mistake. But I doubt if the genuine fans will ever forgive you of your bad and arrogant treatment.

Majority of the people in this country and the Emir and Sheikha are some of the nicest people in the world. But some low cast people in organising committee has done an irreversible damage to the image of this peace loving country.

Thats very good. I particularly liked the Millwall and Lazio analergy. I am delighted to hear that the 2022 committee are "furious" - they should be because in one night, the authoriies have managed to undermine 3 or 4 years worth of good PR work on behalf of the country.
