If you are familiar with fashion field and you can arrange good location, advertising your services and staffing, then you can earn money.

Hi

I'm new to Doha to also looking to get maintenance in building here. I'm from England were I used to renovate properties , but now there's not as many opportunities as before.

I can see the market is growing here but would like to know is it better to have people working for me on contract basis as an when the work comes or to employ them full time?

Viewing possible developments in the infrastructure are in the next 10 years, a lucrative business could be import and retail of building materials in Qatar. Your suppliers could be from SA and UAE.

However, you need to have someone in your team well experienced in this field. But if your interest is in fashion, and mentally you would be happy doing something related to fashion, go for it as you will do it better than any other business.

you are approaching the issue from the wrong side.

First ask yourself what you CAN do.

Then ask yourself what you enjoy doing.

You have mentioned such different types of businesses! Do you have any clue about any of them? How can you run the restaurant or Contracting Company without having any idea how to do it? If you want just to INVEST your money, it is a different story. But if you are panning to run the business by yourself, you have to have deep knowledge of what you are going to do. Otherwise it will never succeed.

Trying to find the "right" type of business, which will bring you huge income by default, is nonsense.

Noone can define "EXACT Profitable, Fashionable and Best Business". It can be any of those that you have mentioned, or anything else.

YOU are the one who will make this business either succeed or fail.

It is entirely up to you to set up "Profitable, Fashionable and Best Business in Qatar". NO matter WHAT it is.

A restaurant sounds good provided you get an ideal location. Even I am looking for one so if you come across any places, PM me. I need a 150pax. capacity but rent max. 20k. p.m. What is your budget ? May be if I find a place i can let you know too.

If you can approach good schools and collaborate with them regarding admissions. Most parents have difficulty with admission of their kids in good school. You may train their kids according to the school requirements and than it would be easy for the school to accomodate them and parents would be relieved as well. Just an idea you can play with.
