Adopting from overseas

Hi there, If anyone has experience of adopting from overseas whilst living in Doha we would love to hear from you. Is there a child welfare society or social worker that can carry out home studies and is adotion legally recognised here for when we return with the child and need to add them to our visa. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
