Foe what it's worth I will be disappearing from the forum in a few days (off to Abu Dhabi for a couple of months consultancy work).
I will try and keep in touch with postings but am fairly certain I will not have a great amount of spare time.
Have fun ;)
tg I had forgotten about Seraj Hafeet! I spent 4 days working out there with NDC on the water rigs (water project). Now that IS an experience. The land oil rigs have it easy.
Didim (Green Town, Yesilkent actually) has been hotter than Doha of late and just as humid so I guess it's a fair swap.
I have gained much more knowledge from you then anyone else on this forum, particularly with respect to economics and living in Qatar.I appreciate and thank u for ur kind replies.Take good care of urself and God bless u
Leaving beautiful Didim for Humid Abu Dhabi?? Phew..Best Wishes...
You can always escape to Al-Ain(Seraj Hafeet) on the weekends...and Mid-september onwards Abu Dhabi Corniche is good..(Its like a beginner telling an expert what to do)...

Other than smoking no!
I no longer smoke but was on 80 a day in Qatar. Add that to the 12 bottles of "Four Bells" rum a month and things build up.
Seven heart attacks and a bypass eventually convinced me I should stop.
Why should you look back when you cannot change anything.
Always look forwards.
So ur in self esteem phase of ur life.
