6 things to do in Qatar this week (Nov 20 - 26)

Samurai Festival
20 November – 24 November
Witness an anime singing concert, kimono fashion, samurai armors and swords and film screenings, and a range of other samurai related activities taking place at the Hilton Hotel, starting today, 20 November. The event is free for the public and will run until 24 November. Catch the Japanese Manga artist Yōichi Takahashi at the festival.
Qatar Ladies Open
23 November – 26 November
The first-ever Ladies European Tour (LET) event to be played in Qatar tees off on Wednesday 23 November 2016 at the Doha Golf Club. The inaugural Qatar Ladies Open will welcome 108 of the world’s best female golfers, many of who played at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, to play on the 18-hole Championship course in Doha.
As well as the world-class on-course action, the tournament will boast a world-class Tournament Village with activities for the whole family, a Kids’ Zone, a range of food and beverage options, other hospitality offerings, shady viewing platforms and much more.
FIA World Touring Car Championship at Losail Circuit
24-25 November
The FIA World Touring Car Championship visits the Qatar track for a floodlit spectacular this weekend for second time, being the Race of Qatar the last round of an exciting season.
The entrance at the Grandstand and PADDOCK is free for the 2-days event and the VIP ticket is 1.200QR for the 2 days or 700QR for Friday only.
And for those fans wanting an adrenaline rush and fun with friends, the Go Karting track will be open during the 2-day event with a price of QR 100 for a 15-minute session from 16:00 to 21:00.
Mawaheb Talent Show
24 November
College of the North Atlantic – Qatar will host a fun-filled talent show – Mawaheb from 6pm - 9pm on the 24th of November. If you’re up for some amazing and talented performances and a very entertaining night, head over to CNAQ to check out Mawaheb Student Talent Show.
Taal Exhibition
24 November – 26 November
Taal Ethnic is one of the most famous stores in Qatar for their authentic and great selection of Indian wear. They are unveiling their latest collection starting Thursday, 24 November, 5pm onwards until 10pm at the Indian Club. There will also be discounted wear and clearance stock, so if you’re looking to stock up on your Desi collections, this exhibition should not be missed.
9-Ball Open Tournament
24 November – 25 November
If you looking to meet some new people while shooting some pool, Megapolis Entertainment Center at Medina Centrale in the Pearl, Qatar is hosting an open-to-the-public 9-ball open tournament.
The event will take place between 1pm and 5pm, and registration costs QR 100. This is only open to those above 16 years of age. Winners will receive prizes or 3,000 QR, 1,500 QR and 750 QR.
