August was ripe with entertainment with the Qatar Summer Festival in full swing. It has yet to entertain you with more events before it heads out the window and gives way to September. Here are five things to check out in Qatar in the last week of August.
My Little Pony

Paint the Town Qatar holds regular meetups that are creative and delicious. Their theme for the next session is painting the bird of colors in bright summery shades. Get your tickets here.

Summer Collection – Part 2

Venue: Katara Art Center, Building 5
Al-Markhiya Gallery will hold an exhibition entitled: "Summer Collection - Part 2” will be held by Al Markhiya Gallery at the Katara Art Center. It will showcase contemporary art from artists in Qatar and abroad. The collections are diverse, portraying the array of versatile ideas and creativity of Arab and international artists.
Bazar and Back-to-School

Venue: Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF)
Participate for a cause at the charity event at Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) Women’s Section. Its headquarters is holding the event at Al Duhail. The aim is to provide school supplies and goods before Eid Al Adha. It will run daily and offers Eid dresses for children and adults, household items, and stationery gathered through donations by companies and humanitarians.
