Teams arrive for Qatar International Cricket Women's championship
Update: Fans welcomed the Pakistan Women's Cricket Team on their arrival at Doha Airport at 5pm on Wednesday.
The Ireland Women's Cricket Team is expected to arrive at 10pm on January 8th as well.
Finally, the South African Women's Cricket Team will land at 2:45am on January 9th.

The West End Park has announced the start of ticket sales from today (January 7) for the Qatar International Cricket Women's championship.
The triangular women’s one-day and Twenty20 championship between January 10-24, is being organized under the patronage of His Excellency Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser Al Ali, Minister of Youth and Sports in the State of Qatar.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, chairman of West End Park, Mana Ibrahim al Mana said preparations at the 12,500-capacity cricket stadium located at the West End Park are complete.
He said sale of tickets for the championship will start from 7th January till 24th at all leading shopping malls in Doha and Industrial Area, as well at the West End Park.
He said tickets are available in 4 categories of January, and will be available.
Teams will compete for precious ICC ranking points ahead of major events such as the ICC Women’s World Cup; ICC Women’s World Twenty/20.
The tournament will provide world class competition between the 3 countries from the 3 continents of Asia, Africa & Europe, Mana noted.
Meanwhile, participating teams are set to arrive in Doha to clinch the coveted trophy.
The first match of the tournament will see the South African team battle against the Irish team.
