IWA presents Kellogg's Inter School Quiz Contest 2013
Continuing IWA’s commitment towards education and furthering the age old art of Quizzing, the Indian Women’s Association (IWA) proudly announcing the “Kellogg’s” 17th Interschool Quiz, which will be held on October 3 and 4, 2013, at Birla Public School.
“Kellogg’s”17th Inter School Quiz Contest is all set to give an opportunity to students of various schools in Doha from grade 7, 8 and 9 to participate and actively engage in the world around them through quizzing. The competition includes questions on various subjects such as Literature, Sports, Science, Current affairs. The IWA Quiz continues to be popular among schools in Doha. Quiz promises to be a fun filled knowledge enhancing event and IWA welcomes children and parents of nationalities from Qatar, India, Philippine, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, American, British, French …etc.
34 Schools have been invited for the event this year. Fifteen schools ( all Indian , both Philippine schools, Pakshama , Bright Future and Stafford International ) have confirmed their participation and others yet to confirm.
IWA proudly introducing the Dubai Star Plus Baby Shop Star Quiz Challenge celebrity Quiz master Mr. Mohan Kapur for the first time in Doha. Mr. Mohan Kapur is an Actor (theatre/ television/ feature films), Radio Jockey, Model, Host and Anchor. He had been associated with the communication business between 1989 and 1995 as an advertising professional. An opportunity to host a game show in 1992 catapulted him to fame and an alternate career as an actor. Between 2003 and 2009 he had worked behind the scenes in television as a writer and then a creative head of a channel and several production houses. He is eagerly looking forward to conduct IWA’s prestigious quiz show. .
The prelims round will be conducted on October 3, (Thursday) between 2.30-4.30 pm. The final round will be held on October 4th, 2013 from 4.30 pm onwards. Both rounds will be held at the Birla Public School.
