BlackBerry Hosts Suhoor with Qatar’s Doha Tweetups
Continued partnership with Qatar’s growing technology community reiterated by BlackBerry
BlackBerry hosted a Suhoor in partnership with online community Doha Tweetups to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan. The Suhoor, held at The St. Regis Doha, saw attendees from amongst Qatar’s social media community and passionate mobile app developers.
Mufeed Ahmed, Strategic Partnerships Manager, Doha Tweetups, said: "As Doha's longest-running meetup of social media users, we found BlackBerry to be a great partner on the Suhoor. It was a pleasure to talk to BlackBerry about their upcoming products and services, and the event shows the importance BlackBerry places on engaging with social media influencers and consumers in Qatar."
Attendees experienced the recently-released BlackBerry® Q5 smartphone, which features a youth-oriented design including a re-engineered and re-designed physical QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.1-inch touchscreen.
The BlackBerry® Z10, BlackBerry® Q10 and BlackBerry® Q5 are all available for purchase in Qatar from retail partners.
