Barwa Bank Diamond Sponsor for Qatar’s World Cancer Day 2015 Event
Doha, Qatar - 5 March 2015 – Barwa Bank, Qatar's most progressive Shari’ah-compliant service provider, offered support as Diamond Sponsor for the World Cancer Day 2015 event organised by the Qatar Cancer Society, in line with the bank's role in social responsibility and raising awareness amongst the Qatari community.
Mr. Khalid Mahdi Al-Ahbabi, Barwa Bank‘s Executive General Manager and Chief Business Officer, represented the bank at the event that was held on February 27 at Katara which aimed to raise awareness of signs and symptoms of cancers which, if caught early, are much more treatable.
