Why vehicles are made of steel only? Why they don't make car from wood or stone etc?

...nor even wood or stone.

...because when you crash a vehicle into a wall, the vehicle is totally crushed while the wall remains intact.

Vehicles these days are just like Pepsi cans...

I hate barney with heart and passion, he is a terrorist of children's mind.........

Instead of walking like a normal person, he flops side ways.

Funny you should mention that. There were rumours regarding Fred and barney, but they were never proved.

ofcourse Barney couldn't come out of the closet, because they didn't have them in those days..

I rode a car, once carve from a hollow tree, wheels from stone and was propelled by Foot engine.

Flintstones, meet the Flintstones

They're a modern stone-age family

Come on, down to Bedrock

It's a place right out of history

Someday, maybe Fred will win the fight

And the cat will stay out for the night

I would prefer my car to be made of LCDs. That way I can change the appearance of my car every day, without any cost. And ofcource, no scratches or color fade out worries. If any LCD breaks, I can always replace it !!!

Thank you for clarifying the issue regarding fred's car.

i may add that Morgan will still build you a wooden bodied car for lots of money and Audis and Jaguars come with auminium (Aluminum) bodies.

Ofcourse my pink KIA is steel bodies, wut with carbon fibre dashboard for wieght saving.

It is a cultural issue. Fred Flintstone's dinomobile was made of stone entirely. There are Formula One cars made almost entirely of carbon fiber (body parts and frames), and the early Mercedes Benz cars were indeed made from wood, including the wheels. Since all this is a result of changing technology which is a result of changing culture it is totally adequate to post it here.

They are not made from steel only. There are many made using Aluminium, Fibreglass, plastics and composites.

As for Wood and Stone, c'mon, get real! Do some research before posting such a lame ass question!
