NOVEMBER 5, 2006: Saddam sentenced to death by hanging.
Iraq’s High Tribunal on Sunday found Saddam Hussein guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced him to hang for the 1982 killing of 148 Shiites in the city of Dujail. - is that so?
NOVEMBER 9, 2006: Iraqi health minister reports 150,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed in the war — “about three times previously accepted estimates.” - that would mean 50,000!!!
1- forgot to tell you, this is the "Politics and Culture" section, where serious discussions are, not news :(
2- we've all been following the news or war on Iraq. This is a detailed timeline of it.
3- if you read carefully, you'll find it extends till "SEPTEMBER 27, 2010", not "4 year old news"
4- some of the information there are new to me, I thought it could be to others
5- it's NOT are repost, is it?
"... but rather try to forget and hope for peace and prosperity the world over"
you can say that when Iraq is not occupied anymore, and safe again.
Besides, this is history, who would want to forget history?
What are you trying to prove here?
What's the point in posting this piece of news? we all know what happened then don't we? and besides it is'nt something to want to remember but rather try to forget and hope for peace and prosperity the world over.
... and you are posting this 4 year old news because ... ???
