Please check this link it’s contain painful photos for Palestinians children (Muslims & Christians) killed by Zionist “Israeli army” ,when they cant stop legal resistant they start to kill children to forced the resistant to stop.
Great When i posted comments on racism calling for boycot against Israelis or at points of time which speaks of personal vendetta richard took the opposite stance although there is some justification behind his claims.....
the money goes to the right people ... after 10 years and saying that a place like Gaza would be like Singapore ... Still some people got no water or electricity ... I'm not with or against Hamas or whoever ... the thing is what are we supposed to do? When they strike people with missiles using massive force? WE got nothing to even defend ourselves ... when you are sleeping with your kids peacefully in your house and in seconds the entire building is down ... is that the justice of the 21 century? They will kill my brother, my father, my uncle, my sister and the people around the world asking me to stay still and do nothing?
You guys are opening threads here complaining about silly and simple things you face in your life sometimes ... Some Land Cruiser jumped in front of me ... Some Sales man give my chocolates instead of my quarters and you all would be fighting there and upset because of that or even mad ... and you are asking people to calm down? The ones who lost all of their families and relatives ... to stand there holding flowers and roses and smile in the face of their killers? You would never really understand how do they feel or what is really happening there unitl you face it one day ...

We are not in disagreement.....If there was a just peace the need for "resistance" would disappear....but that's why the continued existence of Israel (and its oppressive policies by default) is creating sympathy for such groups from people who are by all accounts moderate (like ME!)....and that is why I fear there will never be peace as long as the State of Israel Exists.
I wish the world was as harmonious as Canada!
Stay safe.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
P.S. I just noticed your kind words PH and I thank you greatly....though we disagree on many things, your altruism is touching...thank you again.
I disagree Ragna, the continued existence of Israel isn't enough to give these groups legitimacy, even with their own people. If Israel did not use violent force, or make infringements on the Gaza strip, then I think, after perhaps a period of adjustment and peaceful discussion, things would work themselves out. If Israel wasn't using violence and these organizations were, then I think even the Palestinians would have to call them terrorists. As it stands now, Israeli violence is an excuse for them to use violence, and the dead children are great PR to garner sympathy and money from the rest of the world.
Rock I feel for you! InshAllah may Allah make it easy for us all. I cannot imagine having gone through something like that. My heart and soul goes out for you in tears and action by calling people back to Allah and what is good.
And InshAllah may we all unite on the good and protect our brothers! InshAllah ameen.
i love you and all palestinians for the sake of Allah!
Strategicallly speaking....but I wonder how many of us would have the composure to plot our nighttime revenge while our children are being butchered in front of our eyes!
Sorry for the disturbing imagery but this thread is bringing back haunting and vivid memories....perhaps I better take a break for awhile....
Stay safe my friends.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
If someone takes over your home and you have no choice but sleep in the attic.. then you wait till night falls.. and the thieves are sleeping and attack when they least expect it.. and win your house back! There will always be casualities!
Psychological warfare is politically known to be much stronger than any other method of war. Look also at the strategic positions america has placed itself in over the years with regards to cutting off all oil supply between the middle east and china!
Is all they need to claim they are a resistance force....something Israel gladly supplies in spades....oh and the dead children to boot....I know because I have friends who have had young siblings killed by Israely war planes (and they were not part of Hezbollah)!
Stay safe.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
Oh I see how they sell themselves as a "resistance" organization, but the fact of the matter is they NEED dead Palestinians and Lebanese to give themselves legitimacy, every dead child is a public relations victory for them. These organizations are like any business, they are out for power and gain.
From where you are sitting maybe Hezbollah is the cause of the death. From the vanatage point of those stepped on, its better to have dignity....IF you are going to be attacked anyway, why not fight back...especially as Hezbollah tries to at least fight honorably and target military personnel not civilians.....and then by withdrawing from the buffer in 2000 Israel only gives credence to the argument that they only understand force.
Don't get me wrong, i'm against the ideology of Hezbollah.....but to me, they are a resistance organization, whereas to others (like yourself) they are terrorist no different from Al Qaeda.
Stay safe.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
It would be like negotiating with an intruder who breaks into your house, injures your family members and steals your domicile.....he proves to be powerful, and has the backing of the BIG bully down the street, so you eneter into negotiations to let him have the house if he'll give you the attic!
Not fair....how the world expects us to accept that or labels us warmongers is mindboggling! We want peace, but not without justice!
Stay safe.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
but I fear I would never want my family to stop resisting, and test your theory, becuase if you are wrong, then they are dead....no amount of international condemnation will bring them back....
As I said before, I fear the world places no value on our lives....the world simply watches silently (maybe a few brave souls speak out), but nothing is done to stop naked aggression....wether it be In Lebanon, Palestine, or Iraq....at least that's what recent history has shown.
Stay safe all.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
You don't need a UN decision to cause international pressure. Also, should the Palestinians stop fighting, and Israel continue then that is genocide, under international law a countries cannot condone genocide, something would have to be done.
International pressure only works if all the UN (mainly permanent security coucil members) are on board and no one vetoes......otherwise its a joke...199 countries can vote one way and one of the 5 just vetoes and says sorry.....Israel has allies among the 5, and we do not.....so waiting for international pressure isn't the answer.....though I agree suicide bombings aren't either.....the real question is: what is???? Its so frustarting for those of us who have loved ones there!
Stay safe all.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
The wonderful thing about a state Rock is that it's susceptible to world pressure. Look at the situation of apratheid in South Africa as an example.
IF Palestine and Israel began peace talks and called a ceasefire, you would see more pressure from the Western nations for Israel to conform, frankly I don't think the two sides of actually tried this in 60 years. However as long as Palestine continues with sucide bombers, etc, Israel won't talk peace. And suicide bombers won't stop in Palestine.
Please excuse my skepticism...but the plan being "lets leave it to allah" just isn't going to cut it i'm affraid.
Yes the Lebanese and Palestinians weep from all around the world when they see the news, but the uly reality is the West (though mainly inadvertantly I believe) is conditions to think our lives are wprth less than the Israely lives lost.
A SOLDIER is taken captive and the world knows his name almost instantly....ENTIRE families are wiped out, and no one knows them...they are figures and not real people. The media is partly to blame.....but its most because the Zionists had a National plan centuries ago...and they worked at it.....we are divided, ignorant of our true history....and distracted with religion and other pettyness.
Stay safe all.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
But that only serves to reinforce and higlight the importance of SEPERATION OF RELIGION AND STATE! And its inspiring to see Israely citizens who are pro peace and condemn their governments policies...they only want to live side by side with us and would be welcome!
And as for the State of Israel being around forever.....we shall see...though I certainly hope not!
Stay safe.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
Let us look at the situation in a way that will bring more peace then what exists at the moment.
Fighting is not the answer right now! It was before! However our people have lost the war.. plain and simple.
Our people are broken and in despair and nothing can fix that save Allah. Whether you are a christain, jew or muslim.
The point I am trying to make here is that we have to look at all our options. Fighting does not have to be done with just the sword!
People will speak up for the palestinians when they stop the bombings. So many palestinians, syrians, lebanese, jordanians live across the world and they will make sure that the injustice is known. We All cry when we watch the news and see the injustice.. because it hits close to our hearts.
Much like a child does not see the wisdom of his parents because our emotions envelope our senses!
Sometimes we are consumed with so much anguish and hatred that we as adults also do not SEE the wisdom and advice when another person or the Quran and Sunnah gives it!
We do what we can and leave the rest to Allah. That doesn't mean we quit easily. No it means we struggle and fight in the best way possible!
I realize that Ragna, but the problem is, you aren't going to see
A) the complete annihilation of Jews
or
B) the end of Israel as a state
As for not being second class citizens, well there are ways around that, but not through continued violence. And as long as theirs a Hamas (or a PLO or a whatever you want to call it) there will be violence. Therefore the conflict will continue.
As a bastion and cradle of civilization it has seen people come from all parts of the world, settle in and assimilate...jews would be included in that group too.....the problem arises if a group comes along that does not WANT to assimilate....insist that some old scrolls gives them rights to these lands because their god promises it...and don't want to share.....THAT is not taught in any history books in the west but it cetainly puts a different spin on things doesn't it?
Stay safe all.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
Yes some people are calling for liquidating the jews as an answer.....while others are calling for an end to the jewish state as a political entity.
There is no deniying that Judaism has its roots here too...and that some jews ARE indegenous....the main problem most palestinians have is with the jews that came from all over the world...kicked them out (or worse)...established a state where a small fraction can remain as second class citizens....and comtinue to dominate and oppress them....THAT is what we are calling on ending!
Hope that clarifies it a bit Gypsy.
Stay safe all.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
Rock it seems to me that the only reason that this fight is continuing is because nobody is willing to compromise. For many of the Palestinians it's the Jew's must leave Israel or nothing. The Jews aren't going anywhere, it's time for Palestine to accept that.
allah has promised to help the muslims??? What nonsense....first of all so allah is saying too bad to the christian palestinians...you're out of luck?
Or what....we should just sit back and make popcorn because allah will deliver us the victory....so where was he the first few wars, what he wasn't paying attention? Or was it just a test....we were not worthy so he hasn't decided to help us yet?
The zionists fight with utter conviction that yaweh has their back!
Grow up....your beielfs in your gods is ur business, but keep them to yourselves and out of our NATIONAL affairs.
Its crazy (not to mention scary) that nationalism is on the decline and its preceived as ineffective, and the ONLY alternative is Islamic Jihad! I got news for you....that part of the world has DOZENS of religions and sects...stop calling on what divides us and lets look for what unites us instead....how about we try that instead PH?
Stay safe.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
I am saying that their are other methods to winning a war then using our fists. And the best method is getting our people together and uniting them upon the correct belief and methodology.
Because when this is done.. Allah has PROMISED to help the muslims!
And because when we have a clear level head to think wisely with.. we can strategize our next move on the chess board.
The fact is that fighting is not going to help! Too many powerful forces outside will prevent this.. and many of our people have left our religion! And this is how britain gained control in the first place!
So Gypsy points out (maybe even correctly) that vioelnce has thus far not accomplished anything...but we still lack an alternate considering the invadres think this is god's gift to them and no matter where they were born, they can just come and kick the indigenous people out (or kill them)....establish their racist religious state, and its all hunky dory??
Perhaps they were counting on people like PH and her wise religious words.....clearly the palestinians have lost....why fight....just roll over and die!
Shame on all of humanity.....60, or 100, or even 1000 years is nothing in the life of a Nation.....you are all talking about a part of the world that is older than civilizations that are studied in history books as ancient....older than languages now considered "dead"....and older than any "Religion" under whose banner people now wage war and shed blood.
Stay safe all.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
As a muslim I detest what is happening in palestine. And I 110% agree that the action of kicking people out of their homes in order to regain land that was once lost is repulsive.
However, I also agree with gypsy's analysis of the situation. We as muslims need to use our hikmah (wisdom) during this time. And every major scholar has spoken about the palestinians laying low and first correcting themselves, their (belief) aqueedah, and (methods and principles)manhaj before making silly decisions that will affect them for the rest of their lives.
It is quite clear that the Palestinians have now lost!
Nothing can take back what they lost save by Allahs Will. Now is the time to stop thinking solely with mental anguish and broken hearts and start using our minds so we can regain some of our dignity as muslims. Every hardship is guidance from Allah and a request to put your faith in HIM because everyone will dissappoint you in this world, including non muslims. Even your mother, father, wife, husband and children will dissappoint you but the only ONE who will never dissappoint is Allah. So correct your Aqueedah (belief), Manhaj (methodology) based upon the Quran and Sunnah and make jihaad with your heart for the sake of Allah. And not for the sake of this worldly life.
People will always try to take something away from others. Don't let it bother you.. MashAllah look at how your people have grown in piety and been humbled. Look at some wealthy arabs and how ungrateful they have become and fail to give thanks to Allah for the wealth he has bestowed upon them. Which would you rather Be in this world? Poor, humble, needy, obedient, grateful and sincere in your love for Allah. Or wealthy, disobedient, proud, arrogant and many of the other vile characteristics that is found in the muslim world today. With every hardship comes ease my brothers and sisters!
Gypsy is using her wisdom as one who has studied political science and giving you guys good naseeha. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong but now is the time to use our wisdom in this situation!
When we get evidences, you don't like it. Just sticking to what you believe?
You have only that school issue in mind.
Anyhow. Whatever we do, we will be considered as barbarians and under-civilized nation. And whatever Israel does, it will be considered as a democratic country that have the right to live and defent itself against the waves of barbarian Arabs and Muslims.
For you. A whale trapped between ice bergs in the north pole is more important than millions of Palestians living in tents and tin houses for decades.
What problem with Quebec?? You'll have to enlighten me Kelly, I wasn't aware that the Quebequois had any problem, defintely not one that they aren't peaceably settling in the House of Commons.
The irony is that the Caterpillars used by Muslims during the 7th century to demolish Jewish temples and build al Aqsa mosque are now used in Palestine on a different scale. Here are the evidences:
http://www.catdestroyshomes.org/
And for those who are not interested in history, better not to check the following beach resort and consider it for the coming holidays
Your example about Iraq is irrelevant. The name changed but the people there did not change. In the case of Israel, Palestinians were forced out of their country. Their lands and houses were taken from them by different means and there has been a massive change in demography
King: From http://www.mideastweb.org/briefhistory.htm
The archeological record indicates that the Jewish people evolved out of native Cana'anite peoples and invading tribes. Some time between about 1800 and 1500 B.C., it is thought that a Semitic people called Hebrews (hapiru) left Mesopotamia and settled in Canaan. Canaan was settled by different tribes including Semitic peoples, Hittites, and later Philistines, peoples of the sea who are thought to have arrived from Mycenae, or to be part of the ancient Greek peoples that also settled Mycenae.
According to the Bible, Moses led the Israelites, or a portion of them, out of Egypt. Under Joshua, they conquered the tribes and city states of Canaan. Based on biblical traditions, it is estimated that king David conquered Jerusalem about 1000 B.C. and established an Israelite kingdom over much of Canaan including parts of Transjordan. The kingdom was divided into Judea in the south and Israel in the north following the death of David's son, Solomon. Jerusalem remained the center of Jewish sovereignty and of Jewish worship whenever the Jews exercised sovereignty over the country in the subsequent period, up to the Jewish revolt in 133 AD.
The Assyrians conquered Israel in 722 or 721 B.C. The Babylonians conquered Judah around 586 B.C. They destroyed Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, and exiled a large number of Jews. About 50 years later, the Persian king Cyrus conquered Babylonia. Cyrus allowed a group of Jews from Babylonia to rebuild Jerusalem and settle in it. However, a large number of Jews remained in Babylonia, forming the first Jewish Diaspora. After the reestablishment of a Jewish state or protectorate, the Babylonian exiles maintained contact with authorities there. The Persians ruled the land from about 530 to 331 B.C. Alexander the Great then conquered the Persian Empire. After Alexander's death in 323 B.C., his generals divided the empire. One of these generals, Seleucus, founded a dynasty that gained control of much of Palestine about 200 B.C. At first, the new rulers, called Seleucids, allowed the practice of Judaism. But later, one of the kings, Antiochus IV, tried to prohibit it. In 167 B.C., the Jews revolted under the leadership of the Maccabeans and either drove the Seleucids out of Palestine or at least established a large degree of autonomy, forming a kingdom with its capital in Jerusalem. The kingdom received Roman "protection" when Judah Maccabee was made a "friend of the Roman senate and people" in 164 B.C. according to the records of Roman historians.
Palestine From Roman to Ottoman Rule
About 61 B.C., Roman troops under Pompei invaded Judea and sacked Jerusalem in support of King Herod. Judea had become a client state of Rome. Initially it was ruled by the client Herodian dynasty. The land was divided into districts of Judea, Galilee, Peraea and a small trans-Jordanian section, each of which eventually came under direct Roman control. The Romans called the large central area of the land, which included Jerusalem, Judea. According to Christian belief, Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, Judea, in the early years of Roman rule. Roman rulers put down Jewish revolts in about A.D. 70 and A.D. 132. In A.D. 135, the Romans drove the Jews out of Jerusalem, following the failed Bar Kochba revolt. The Romans named the area Palaestina, at about this time. The name Palaestina, which became Palestine in English, is derived from Herodotus, who used the term Palaistine Syria to refer to the entire southern part of Syria, meaning "Philistine Syria." Most of the Jews who continued to practice their religion fled or were forcibly exiled from Palestine, eventually forming a second Jewish Diaspora. However, Jewish communities continued to exist, primarily in the Galilee, the northernmost part of Palestine. Palestine was governed by the Roman Empire until the fourth century A.D. (300's) and then by the Byzantine Empire. In time, Christianity spread to most of Palestine. The population consisted of Jewish converts to Christianity and paganism, peoples imported by the Romans, and others who had probably inhabited Palestine continuously.
During the seventh century (A.D. 600's), Muslim Arab armies moved north from Arabia to conquer most of the Middle East, including Palestine. Jerusalem was conquered about 638 by the Caliph Umar (Omar) who gave his protection to its inhabitants. Muslim powers controlled the region until the early 1900's. The rulers allowed Christians and Jews to keep their religions. However, most of the local population gradually accepted Islam and the Arab-Islamic culture of their rulers. Jerusalem became holy to Muslims as the site where, according to tradition, Muhammed ascended to heaven after a miraculous overnight ride from Mecca on his horse Al-Buraq. The al-Aqsa mosque was built on the site generally regarded as the area of the Jewish temples.
The Seljuk Turks conquered Jerusalem in 1071, but their rule in Palestine lasted less than 30 years. Initially they were replaced by the Fatimid rulers of Egypt. The Fatimids took advantage of the Seljuk struggles with the Christian crusaders. They made an alliance with the crusaders in 1098 and captured Jerusalem, Jaffa and other parts of Palestine.
The Crusaders, however, broke the alliance and invaded Palestine about a year later. They captured Jaffa and Jerusalem in 1099, slaughtered many Jewish and Muslim defenders and forbade Jews to live in Jerusalem.
And so on and so on. Fight after fight, bloodshed after bloodshed. First one and then the other peoples being exiled the returning, etc etc.

I am afraid there is no point in discussing this issue any more. Each one of us has huge resources and means to investigate and research. And apparently that most of you hardly know 10% of the facts and you are jumping into judgements and thinking idealistic towards people who Guantanamo would be a paradise to them compared to what they are suffering inside Palestine
Each one of us is relaxed in own office or at home and stating theories according to their perspectives. Everyone starts coming out with ideas and judgements without going to the field.
You keep claiming that attacking the "innocent" and "terror" acts will lead no where. What is the alternative? Wait every 4 or 8 years for an American president to try doing something at the end of his presidency and then they play the same time game with the Israelis and we keep going around the same status quo.
Wonder if regimes like Iran and Syria would exist if Israel and its supporters were abiding by the UN resolutions.
Wonder if AL Qaeda would ever exist without the help of America and its theory and policy about "Mojahedeen" to fight the communist USSR.
Again I wish one of you would go to Gaza and live the normal daily life of the Palestinians and then would like to hear your opinion.
I would like to add to the title of this thread "shame on humanity and civilization"
why everyone was kicking them out? They were even kicked out of europe and in Spain ... in the 16 and 17 century ... they were seeing the Muslims and Jewish the same and were forced to choose between changing their religion or get killed .....
------------------------------------ Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
Gypsy > Hamas came to the picture only in 1987, what happened between 1948 - 1987?
PM> You are right, our religion is asking us not to fight those who are not fihting us and I have no problem with the new generation of Jewis if they won't have any with me, it is god well ... their end would be in Palestine as we all know ... the Christian believe as well that Jesus Christ will come down to earth if the Jewish got [what do they assume or dream] their land and the rest of the sequences ....
SG> Problems were before hamas came, i'm not defending them or trying to judge if they are doing or right, but Hamas is new in the game compared with others.
Oryx> Of course, even if they got access to Media ... they will not get the true picture ...
Guys ... I'm sorry if I upset some with my comments, just got to say what i have to say here ... The arguments here about this whole situation is endless ... It would never simply end ... The humans got no solution for it .. It is only god and god's well ...
The whole concept is really strange ... Would you agree on negotiating with the thief who kicked you out of your house? Don't think that someone would agree .... especially if the roles of the game is in the hands of the thief ..
------------------------------------ Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
now its time to face the present and future. For us and our kids and all coming generations.Sometimes needs some changings.Ok,thats how i look at it,thats only my personal opinion.I may be wrong but i feel like this.
and i am very sorry for the situation there. In my eyes they have the right for a Palestinian Country. It is time to accept it.Like some times ago in Kosovo.
DId you ever think King that the whole world isn't the problem. The whole world doesn't gain anything from conflict in Palestine, whereas the Hamas and the Israeli governments do. This conflict allows them to stay in power, without it, there would be no Hamas and you'd have a very different Israeli government. So it's in the best interests of the Hamas to continue the bloodshed.
the whole world know where is the problem, the cure ... but they don't want this case to be closed ... would be closed only when judgment day come ... :(
------------------------------------ Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
to the root of the problem ... all of this discussion would mean nothing at all ... ALL people know what happened and that these were brought to my country ... if they were brought there then they are not innocent ... they forced my people and killed them to kick them out ... how can they be now innocents? Let them go back to their own countries ... they were living there right? happy or not ... not my problem ... what i know is that they got no right in even EXIST there in my country ...
Peace ...
------------------------------------ Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
Our brothers sold us long time ago, why would i care about my old phone that i sold to someone already and get paid for it long time ago? It is the new owner problem and not mine anymore ...
It is been now 56? 57 years? What did the world done? Just continue grabbing their Pop Corn and Coke and enjoy the show only ...
The one who got his hand in the water is not the same as the one got it in the fire ... If people would have the chance to live there in Palestine for a week only ... they will look to our case from a different point of view ...
------------------------------------ Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
Well you pretty much said it King. The violence from the Palestinian side has gotten you what? Labelled as terrorists and very little world sympathy. No one has bothered to help you, not even your Muslim "brothers" so why continue the violence? Surely it makes more sense to stop spening money on weapons and instead purchase the assistance of a major Public Relation's/Media Relations company (as Kuwait did when Iraq invaded them in 1991) and garner world sympathy that way.
WE stop everything for more than 6 months, but they never stop ... Can you tell me what do they need? And why someone like me need their APPROVAL to visit my own country? :?
If we do nothing, they are killing us and no one is saying anything ...
when WE do something to deffend ourselves ... then the Palestinians are the worst terrorists ever .. and the people with Tanks, AirForces and missiles are innocents ... strange how the justice terms in this world changed ...
The victim became the slayer ...
The slayer became the victim ...
I don't liek to comment on these posts, but it is really too much ...
130 people were killed in 3 days and no problem ...
8 were killed after that on the other side and the whole world was denying that ...
It is just unfair, guess they are human ... we are less than the ANI*** than ... Is that what the world is trying to say here?
------------------------------------ Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
I think the main question is Kelley's Heroe's, is not whether or not the violence is "justified" but whether it's done the Palesinians any good. The answer is NO.
On April 8, 1970, at 9:20 AM, the Israeli air force bombed the elementary school in Bahr el Bakar elementary school. The air force used F-4 Phantom II airplanes manufactured in the United States. It fired 5 bombs and 2 missiles, destroying the whole school building. 46 children were killed, and tens (at least 50) were severely injured.[1][2][3][4]
The Israelis believed that the building was a military installation.[5]
I did answer. Those schools are being attacked already and they nothing more to loose.
Hamas did not claim officially the resposibility. Please read this:
Compiled by Daily Star staff
Saturday, March 08, 2008
Hamas on Friday claimed responsibility for a gun attack which killed eight Jewish students at a Jerusalem religious school the night before. "Hamas is responsible for the attack. The Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades will officially claim the attack at the right moment," a senior Hamas official in Gaza told AFP on condition of anonymity, referring to the group's armed wing.
Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for Hamas' armed wing, told Al-Jazeera television the attack was "an honor we have not claimed yet," but did not deny the Islamist group's involvement in the attack.
Besides. This is an incidence done an Israeli citizen. I don't find a difference between it and similar incidents that take place in some American or European schools and universities.
Another important thing. Whenever we talk about Israeli crimes, most of you jump here and start talking about Arabic/Islamic terrorism. You blame the victims that lost their lands and keeo your eyes away when Israel commits its crimes. Any attack on civilians is not justifiable.
What worries more is that you look at a single incident and don't consider that background and the horrible history of Israel. You an comdemn an act done by an individual or a small group of people. Those people have rights and LOVE LIFE but Israel and the "civilized world" backing it is do now want them to live and will not let them live peacefully.
I bet you if USA dares to pass a resolution to send UN forces to West Bank and Gaza like they did in South Lebanon. Simply because Israel disagrees.
Simply. You (not PM but all who take such stand) always blame the reaction and do not consider the "cause".
And to be honest. Your way of thinking is indirectly promoting terrorism by not giving any single hope to the victims.
Palestinians students are attacked irrespective of their age or political views. Let aside the newborns.
Am not justifying the action and am against it. Also Hamas did not admit the responsibility.
Just to remind you. Forgot about the Israeli fighters when they raided the handicapped Hamas spiritual leader while rolling out of the mosque after finishing his morning prayers?
Sdakak..your comprehension skills amaze me..you still miss the point..anyway it doesnt matter...Violence is ugly no matter what race, religion you belong too, no one deserves to die in the name of poltics or religion....regardless of who started it first.....
I am completely against attacking a school. Any school. And any unarmored individual. Let aside fighting and bloodshed. BUT have a look at the link here under and give your opinion about what "students" are we talking about.
Next point. I wonder if Mexico occupied parts of USA, or USA occupied parts of Canada, or France occupied parts of Germany. Would the citizens in the occupied territories wait for 60 years peacefully without any resistance hoping that their "neighbors" would pull out peacefully?
Unfortunately. Those who blame the Arabs know one side of the story. And when they try to listen to the other side, they keep in the back of their minds what they have grown up with and the ideas "saturated" in their minds. If they care about Arabs in the first place.
I wonder if any of you ladies can imagine herself heading to the hospital to deliver a baby and you were stopped by the Israeli Army not allowing you to proceed. You end up delivering at the Israeli check point or die with the baby inside while waiting there hopelessly and helplessly. What would be the reaction of your relatives and friends?
Would love to know about anyone of you who dare go there and live the life of Palestinaians and not as a tourist, then whatever impression and opinion you ome back with, I will completely honor and respect.
Sdakak if you are not hear to teach..then why start in the first place and mention it..seems your more interested in whinging more than being constructive....and bringing awareness...to me it seems you are the kid who is throwing tantrums.."oh mummy she hit me first"..grow up dude...
Violence is ugly no matter who started it....but you have seemed to miss the point .....
nadt u wrote; Sdakak...instead of getting bitter and twisted about people not showing two sides of the story, why dont you lead the way by posting threads that affect you instead of attacking the people who are showing initiative in bringing awareness to this never ending violence no matter who is instigating it..
Remember dear, i am not here to teach u guys like u are a kid.
Actually Whoami, it WAS the Palestinians who started the fighting back when Israel was first made a state.
And I understand people are outraged that their Muslim "brothers" are being killed, but if that is the case, why aren't the Arab nations doing anything proactive about it, instead of simply funding the Hamas, which goes to buying more weaponry, and continuing the bloodshed?
"When they say he could walk on water, I think of it like he could fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Literal people scare me, getting it wrong fundamentally, down at the church of 'Look it says right here see!" Ani Difranco
@skdkak, but he did also show what they were doing to Christians too and aren't christians non-muslims?
also, you said "ask hamas to stop sending rockets to israel and they'll stop retaliating".
Isn't it retaliation when that side REPLIES? But isn't it Israel who started bombing first?
Finally, you talk about wanting to point out generalizations, but then go on and on and on about how Islam is one sided by pointing out things which you perceive as bad. Aren't you yourself being one-sided by doing the same?
A child, no matter what religion should never be harmed. An innocent person, no matter what religion should never be harmed.
As a Muslim, I'll continue to be a good person and be good to other people. Anybody who wants to think that as a Muslim I'll do otherwise can simply get lost because I'm only interested in hearing good things.
I take take the good side of life.
I also take the bad side and try to learn something good out of it.
Richard 123 said....It is our duty to protest our outrage of the killing of innocents wherever they may be. This is not a contest about who suffers the most.
People should have the moral courage to not take sides and call out the murderers whoever they may be. Why do Palestinians support Hamas? Why do some Americans support Bush, why do some muslims support Al Qaeda?
I do not want to see any more of these images. I want to see outright condemnation and a refusal of people to support these bastards who commit these crimes whoever and wherever they are.
Richards post is one that struck me most....well said Richard....
Sdakak...instead of getting bitter and twisted about people not showing two sides of the story, why dont you lead the way by posting threads that affect you instead of attacking the people who are showing initiative in bringing awareness to this never ending violence no matter who is instigating it..

PM that was not arab propaganda. it had come in all the mainstream English media reported by thei own staff. not some third party reporting. Thats how everyone got to know what the school was all about.
I think what these "western" people are trying to say.. is that they know whats happening in palestine and are tired of people beating their eardrums (in this case vision) with all the propaganda.
Most people here do not seem to be Pro Israel or anything like that.. save a few ......
I also think that muslims don't mean to always talk about it.. they are just upset to see their muslim brothers and non muslims being abused to such a horrid degree! And perhaps are worried that westerners are not getting the bigger picture because of media distortion.
But I think that most westerners are getting the picture and most of us are against all these horrific crimes. All of my family and non muslim friends are distraught at what is happening in Palestine. It just doesn't affect them directly!
if someone comes in your land or property, start making damage, start killing your guards & their families (then your family), start capturing the land, the police is not willing to take action to take this aggressor out, then you have all the right to defend yourself even if this defense means killing the family of the aggressor.
Would the missiles be flying, or would there be a group called Hamas if there was no Israeli invasion of an Arabic country?
Why were the French fighting the Germans when they invaded Paris? Would the French stop the war to liberate Paris if the German army has got their families placed in the buildings they have captured?
... you can be sure that innocents always get killed along the way - and in this particular conflict, the killers on either side aren't particular who is in their way of their guns and bombs to achieve ..... WHAT?
You both claim to be muslims and yet you call for mass murder and annihilation. I think you are both pathetic miserable excuses for humanity and I am sure I am not alone in thinking this.
Fairy tales don't tell children dragons exist. Children know dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children dragons can be killed. G.K Chesterton
Also ask Hamas to stop firing their rockets from the farms, homes and schools of innocent Palestinian families, therefore these farms, homes and schools won't be the objects of retaliation and less children will be killed.

y dont u ask hamas to stop firing rockets (home made) into Israel terrority and u wont see any retalitaion from Israel.
We all know Israel doesn't act like a soft country then y a unnecessary finguring.
For the bigger picture as to who is the owner of entire Israel (thatz what ur next post will be)..... is a topic which has a lot of threads dedicated in QL.
lets start with recognising the immidiate problem to solve the historical problem.
Yes realsom, there's the answer. Kill the Jews. Nothing like a little genocide to make things even stevens.

The 8 Israeli students are adults and they are not on public normal school they are army guys study the fake history and how to kill Palestinian And this operation came after Israeli army killed 33 infant in one week and again I will say Palestinians including Muslim and Christians thousands of Christians killed by Israeli army the problem is not with Islam problem with Palestinian Muslims and Christians problem with humanity before one year Israeli army killed RACHEL , the Christian American girl which come to palestain to support justice and while she try to avoid Israeli army to destroy an old women house the Israeli tank step on her skinny body and killed she immediately.
Please review the history of disputation between Palestinian and Zionist and you will find that no any Israeli child killed by Palestinian legal resistance.

no matter what the racial/religious issue..it seems that its the "he did it first" syndrome, that continues this horrific predicament. One retaliates for the other...perpetual killing. Wish humankind would live up to its peaceful nature and let everyone live...

abcd: kashmir is not a one sided story but I have never ever seen even a single post, leave alone a dedicated thread where a non muslim is shown and discussed as the affected party.
emron: this has nothing to do with any country but the bigger picture. which i pity..... u wont understand
Gypsy: I am not misleading. Y only do v see thread after thread and post after post with agression by non muslims ONLY on QL. Y not the other way round atleast once
My link is just an example for the agression shown by Muslims.
Yes Richard I agree, we should condemn BOTH sides equally.

right.. richard, rather than counter once view with equal and same quote.. we should try to denounce whether it happened to any race, religion, group of humans
I was telling skdk don't mess up the things by relating with other face of inhumanity.
So Abcd there was no excuse for the Palestinian who killed the 8 Israeli children.

I am taking about specified situation, our problem with cancer which called Israel, no excuses for any torrent or children killing , also you show the Kashmir case in non-Muslim side.AGAIN NO EXECUSIS FOR KILLING CHILDREN
It is our duty to protest our outrage of the killing of innocents wherever they may be. This is not a contest about who suffers the most.

Subhana Allah
If someone takes over your home and you have no choice but sleep in the attic.. then you wait till night falls.. and the thieves are sleeping and attack when they least expect it.. and win your house back! There will always be casualities!
Psychological warfare is politically known to be much stronger than any other method of war. Look also at the strategic positions america has placed itself in over the years with regards to cutting off all oil supply between the middle east and china!
Maryum : Umm Hasan bint Abdullah Alshabrawishi

I would disagree with the comment about "noone's willing to compromise", I mean haven't the Palestinians compromised already with alot of the land??
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong -Garfield
Well then Rock in the long run they are dead anyway. Every dead Palestinian or Lebanese is a victory of the Hamas or Hezbollah.

but I fear I would never want my family to stop resisting, and test your theory, becuase if you are wrong, then they are dead....no amount of international condemnation will bring them back....
Visit www.qatarhappening.com

Not armed conflict? Economically? What?
Stay safe all.

the phone and ring the other....

"Ok, my house, tomorrow night for tea, 'bout six-ish"
"Ok matey, see ya there"

Simple i think !! But neither wants to be seen as the man who backed down first and lost face !
[img_assist|nid=79143|title=.|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=|height=0]
But that only serves to reinforce and higlight the importance of SEPERATION OF RELIGION AND STATE! And its inspiring to see Israely citizens who are pro peace and condemn their governments policies...they only want to live side by side with us and would be welcome!
And as for the State of Israel being around forever.....we shall see...though I certainly hope not!
Stay safe.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
rock..

A bunch of scrolls telling people they have rights in this part of the world Ragna? I'd say it's par for the course if you ask me.
Visit www.qatarhappening.com
I realize that Ragna, but the problem is, you aren't going to see
A) the complete annihilation of Jews
or
B) the end of Israel as a state
As for not being second class citizens, well there are ways around that, but not through continued violence. And as long as theirs a Hamas (or a PLO or a whatever you want to call it) there will be violence. Therefore the conflict will continue.
Visit www.qatarhappening.com
Visit www.qatarhappening.com
allah has promised to help the muslims???
And as you can see.. I'm not one who backs down from a fight.. Unless I find a better method that will help me win!
Maryum : Umm Hasan bint Abdullah Alshabrawishi
I'm not saying to turn the other cheek rock.
Maryum : Umm Hasan bint Abdullah Alshabrawishi
Forgive but never forget!

Well, not to mention that the reason the jew's left there was because they were kicked out by various other invading forces over the centuries.

now its time to face the present and future. For us and our kids and all coming generations.Sometimes needs some changings.Ok,thats how i look at it,thats only my personal opinion.I may be wrong but i feel like this.
King I assure you the 'whole world' doesn't. Just the ME and some other countries. A lot of the world
a) has no access to media
b) has its own issues
c) is too far away to mean anything.
Hamas is one of the biggest problems in Palestine
and i am very sorry for the situation there.
So it's in the best interests of the Hamas to continue the bloodshed.

to the root of the problem ... all of this discussion would mean nothing at all ...
Peace ...

I think the main question is Kelley's Heroe's, is not whether or not the violence is "justified" but whether it's done the Palesinians any good. The answer is NO.

Thought you might be interested to read this:

===================================== http://www.qatarliving.com/node/58409
BUT have a look at the link here under and give your opinion about what "students" are we talking about.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/oct/17/religion.israel

Remember dear, i am not here to teach u guys like u are a kid.
why we dont be big family in QL
Actually Whoami, it WAS the Palestinians who started the fighting back when Israel was first made a state.
And I understand people are outraged that their Muslim "brothers" are being killed, but if that is the case, why aren't the Arab nations doing anything proactive about it, instead of simply funding the Hamas, which goes to buying more weaponry, and continuing the bloodshed?

Thank you Richard....wise man.......
Who else do you think should everyone support richard? the corrupt Fatah who sold out their country to Israel
PM that was not arab propaganda. it had come in all the mainstream English media reported by thei own staff. not some third party reporting. Thats how everyone got to know what the school was all about.
mm I agree all violence is wrong.. on BOTH Sides.
Maryum : Umm Hasan bint Abdullah Alshabrawishi
if someone comes in your land or property, start making damage, start killing your guards & their families (then your family), start capturing the land, the police is not willing to take action to take this aggressor out, then you have all the right to defend yourself even if this defense means killing the family of the aggressor.
Would the missiles be flying, or would there be a group called Hamas if there was no Israeli invasion of an Arabic country?
Why were the French fighting the Germans when they invaded Paris? Would the French stop the war to liberate Paris if the German army has got their families placed in the buildings they have captured?
