We all don't know it all. Sometimes we think we do but we don't. Just stay true to your convictions. If you have to post something religious make sure you have proof. Otherwise people just start bashing.

So whenever I am out of my comfort zone on the Religion Issues... I prefer to be ignorant and learn more ....

Than to share the half knowledge.... and as mentioned here... source is really important.....

After so many Years I feel like a Naive.. every time I think of the depth of religious content in religion I belong to..... The deeper I go.. more the ignorant I look.... and can jus appreciate the ideology....

Hence I can never claim to know anything about other religion then.... As jus reading books never helps understand the beauty in it.....

Until we do not get exhausted of Logic we cannot go beyond it.... This is what I feel and I follow.....

Know Nothing About Islam.. but it is religion of Love... and thts enough for me to respect and like it as much I do mine.... as much as I do every religion which has survived in this world for ages... and the ones which have been absorbed in the tides of time..... :)

Wizz: Thanks, it confirms the translation i had where Allah tells us that not all the knowledge is written in the books and advises us to get proofs that what we are saying is true and not to say that something is the way it is because that person says it is without presenting any proofs. :)

Plato..I agree with you our faith does not stop ud from reasoning..

CBD: I pretend to show that our faith doesn't stop us from reasoning and in my opinion that line shows that Allah, when made the revelation to Mohammed (pbuh) he already knew that it would be impossible to put all His infinite knowledge on a few books and challenges us to reveal the new discoveries but asks for real proofs instead of only beliving, somekind of scientific method.

As I said before, I for one am confident of my faith and I don't need physical proof.

I only read Quran in Arabic, which is the only real way to read it.

23 وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُواْ بِسُورَةٍ مِّن مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُواْ شُهَدَاءَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

24 إِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلُواْ وَلَن تَفْعَلُواْ فَاتَّقُواْ النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِينَ

You can find a translations of the meaning online, I wouldn't be doing any good putting my own words to it.

It's basically the first of a few ayahs about the validity of Quran being god's words, it's a challenge to produce a Surah like those in the Quran.

There's another one challenging to produce an Ayah.

To anybody well-read in the Quran, anything that was written to resemble it looks funny and stupid.

As much as I like debating on QL, I'm not debating Quran.
