Indian Film Festival - October

Hi Friends,

This year "SANSKRITI" - an Indian Cultural Organisation - is organising Film Festival - a Tribute to CV Sreeraman, the well-known late story teller. Vice chairman of Sahitya Akademy. Occasionally acted in films like "Piravi" ( Shaji ) and "Uppu" ( Pavitran ).

Though politically a Leftist, he did not exhort slogans in his stories. They always stood out for their straight narrative technique and lucid style even as he chose complex human experiences as the themes. A technique T Pabdmanabhan used in his stories.

Out of the 4 films, the last one "Pulijanmam" is not from Sreeraman.
