Horrible Crime - Meredith Kercher

By CuriousButDetermined

The body of Meredith Kercher was discovered by Italian police at the cottage that she shared with other students in Perugia on November 2, 2007. The 21-year-old British student, who was part of a university exchange programme, was found lying partially clothed under a duvet in her bedroom. Her windpipe had been crushed and throat partially slashed.

Following a murder investigation, police initially arrested two suspects, Kercher's American flatmate, Amanda Knox, and Knox's boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, then a third man, the owner of a local bar (who was later released without charge)

The trial of US exchange student Amanda Knox accused
of killing her British housemate during a drug-fuelled sex game gone awry in 2007 resumed yesterday in the central Italian university town of Perugia.

Please share your arguments on this controversial case.

Are Amanda, her boyfriend R. Sollecito & R. H. Guede guilty??

Or is it some sort of fantasy like some claim!

Both she and her boyfriend have been found guilty in a court of law..

Now , her supporters are mobilizing and requesting to meet with Clinton. They say that the verdicts were due to anti American bias..

I have no idea what to think. Sometimes I think she is innocent, others no. But my thought lie more in the innocent side. I just dont get why would she lie?? what she that drugged up?? why did she blame her boss?? why did she do cartwheels at the police station?? why did she go out shopping with her boyfriend after the murder? I think she and her BF are phsychos. WEIRDOS! Why would she laugh a lot after the crime? in court? I dont know, but it goes back and forth with what do I think about them!

Oh well, 26yrs for her, if she did it, let her enjoy it, if not, poor her! I just hope Meredith's family get a peace of mind!!!

with multiple defendants, a lot depends on the quality of the lawyer and who makes the best deals, first.

Nothing really to discuss. The murder was horrendous. The press has been very active. Lots of rumours. We will see how it unfolds, but so far she seems guilty as hell.

PM,

i am wondering why only Guede recieved a fast track decision resulting in 30 years in jail.

and it's hard to know but I suspect that Amanda and her boyfriend are guilty. Why else would they really have changed their stories so many times? I hope Meredith's family gets some justice and closure.
