To Filipinos

I've always believed that a lot of the trouble in the world would disappear if we were talking to each other instead of about each other.

The best way to win an argument is to begin by being right.

The quieter you become, the more you can hear.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

Always listen to your heart, cause even though it's on your left, it's always right.

The longer the explanation, the bigger the lie.

Long live Filipinos!

ON THE OTHER HAND, YOU HAVE DIFFERENT FINGERS! Smile!

"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation"

i like this one...it doesnt mean u wont be concerned w/ your reputation anymore but the FORMER should be given importance in case of conflict. On the hand, the same question....why not addrss it to all?

that's a nice piece hummerh3. but you know what, in a world where everything is real, all these mumbo jumbo is only a fantasy trip. countries are built not by fantasizing about solutions but by seriously discussing issues & answers...& also, by war.

many filipinos simply try to avoid the truth because of the pain it brings them. as a testimony, many fil-expat hated me for trying to publicize the truth about the philippines & its socio-cultural defects... but some however do manage to listen which in turn, creates influences that motivates then towards what is real.

but then again, the one who will be left behind are the ones who failes to get over their idealistic fantasies.

It's this thing ...when you're good you'll be criticize...All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

AS Sir Pelham Grenville said "Has anybody ever seen a dramatic critic in the daytime? Of course not. They come out after dark, up to no good."

morning and there is someone who is looking for trouble, opening threads only about Filipinos and trying to make problems and issues. He did that once before, thinking that people now would again go after him ... Did not know that he is still playing hide and seek and enjoying it after all of these years ...

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
