If Mr.Al Baker's record is anything to go by,that's ALL he pretty much can do,roll heads,give out pink slips,whatever you want to call it...QR is known for that now,a general environment of fear about getting the boot for the slightest silliest reason when "the chief" is in the vicinity...anybody can run a company on the fear factor,how well it actually runs like that is anyone's guess but i guess when you have the govt. of Qatar's billions to roll around,not much of a problem is it?...

hit bottlenecks and problems in engineering. These are extremely complicated machines, and all are cutting edge,,,,these things happen.
Would have been easier to buy Airbus...

But if his current company's performance is anything to go by, Boeing would plunge into non-profitability through undisclosed losses and need sovereign-guaranteed financial backing to keep the liquidators away.
Given his credentials, I think it's probably safe to say that Boeing is safe for now.
you do not need to be Al Baker to say this, I have said it myself about Boeing and also about Airbus. Does it make me smarter than Al Baker - hmm no.
