CBS News's 60 Minutes reports on Qatar, it's growth, the role of Al Jazeera in the Arab Spring and politics at home. Worth watching for the interviews the Emir of Qatar and the Prime Minister. From CBS :

The Arab Spring is spreading, but not to Qatar, a tiny, oil-rich country wedged between Saudi Arabia and Iran. What keeps the peace in Qatar? Bob Simon reports.

His Highness is one of the most forward-thinking leaders in the world. Prime examples have been highlighted in the above program. I felt that 60 minutes only skimmed the surface though. Qatar is by far, one of the safest, most family-friendly countries on the planet. These were the main motivators for our move to Qatar.

They say that you can't please all of the people all of the time, however, His Highness is doing just that. It is obvious that the people from Qatar are happy and that His Highness truly is not only a leader for people from Qatar, but also those citizens whose countries are in turmoil. Raising the flag of Qatar in Libya is just one example.

As previously stated in this thread:

My concern is that it seems His Highness is losing weight fast. I hope he is in good health and does not push himself too much.

TFS. Very balanced, and I think the Emir and Qatar came across very well.
