Who would love a Golden Retriever for free?

George is a one year old Golden Retriever with a beautiful playful manner. Unfortunately, for George he has a skin condition which needs a lot of care and attention. He requires medication and dedication to his wellbeing. He is very smart and house trained, however does require some training as he is still a young boy. He loves being around people and other dogs however at this point it is advised he is kept away from young/old/weak dogs due to his skin condition. He can sit, lie down and even gives high fives!!
Are you right for George?!
George is looking for a ‘home for life’ with a family who will take him with them, wherever they go. Because he is still only young he chews a little and needs a family who will be dedicated to his training. His skin condition is ongoing and will require a lot of attention; George needs a dedicated family who will look after him and his condition. In return George will offer you love affection and a lot of fun.!!
Please be sure that you are the right person for George and that you can offer a ‘home for life’ and dedicate yourself to his wellbeing. George has to be re-homed due to very unfortunate family circumstances and it is an incredibly hard thing for us to do as he has become part of our family.

George is a great dog and I will be giving him to the right person only. If I had a villa I would keep him, unfortunately I have an appartment and so can't. In my opinion any dog that can high 5 you when asked is a quality animal. Let alone, sit, heel, lie down etc. He is fully house trained also (never ever has he done his business in the appartment).
In terms of his skin condition I am paying for anti-fungal, anti-biotics and the vet is determining what the condition is.
Rest assured I would not go through this expense and effort to see George not correctly homed. He is a wonderfully natured dog and will make a quality pet.
What specifically is happening to his skin? is it a sort of itchiness turned to wounds that causes hairful?
Please make sure you mention the long term cost involved with his skin problem. What is his condition, is it something that will be cured in a couple of weeks or is it a life-time condition?
Advertising a pure breed dog on a public forum "for free" is never a good idea as you will attract the wrong kind of people and you will end up with dozens of phone calls at all hours of the night.
That is a great dog, so I hope you can give it to the RIGHT person! If I were you, I'd look for a family. They are GREAT with children.. Goodluck!
