Does anybody here know how much it would cost to have a 4 year old cat's vet check-up would cost? I have just adopted a 4 year old cat a week ago and the former owner who was leaving Doha told me he was microchipped but somehow lost his papers and vet records and told me that he has only been vaccinated like when he was a year older. Now I'd like to have him checked and get his required shots as I'm planning to take him with me when I leave Doha 5 months from now. And If I take him to the government vet do they give a check-up and shots for free or with a minimal fee? I would prefer the government vet but a suggestion to a good private vet clinic at a reasonable price would be great. Many thanks :)

The vet surgery off Rayyan Rd have special offers on vaccinations afew times a year. The municipal vet hours may not be as convenient as the clinics but I believe their prices are usually the cost of the vaccines.
