The government clinic only offers very basic services and if you need dental work carried out on a cat I would recommend either The Veterinary Surgery (436 7187) or Qatar Veterinary Centre (421 6405).
They do not offer a TNR program for dogs as it is not feasible to have stray dogs living in the streets - even if they are neutered. This is a very built up city and there are a lot of people who would not be happy with the ministry putting dogs back onto the street.
QAWS takes in hundreds of animals every year that get rehomed to families. Unfortunately there is no funding so QAWS are not involved with the feral cats that are not rehomable. All we can offer is advice with who to contact if you have a problem.
If you want to help the stray cats then please contact Dorothy at Qatar Cat Coalition as they sometimes have programs for feeding colonies. Her number is 588 0142.
