fledgling chick on balcony :0

I was sitting on my 12th floor balcony when a fledgling landed from above with a thud! It is purple/blue with a yellow beak and quite large yellow feet. It is the size of a small chick. Has anyone any idea what kind of bird it is so I can give it the correct food to keep it going for now?

It is very cute. I have put it in a small box with tissues and it is sleeping like a baby chick :)

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

As per your description except its colour it seems like a mynah but if the colour is purple blue then it could be something else. Please post a picture in the main forum.

Sounds as if it could be a common mynah bird. If it survives,try small bugs and worms as that is what they live on! Don't know where you'd get them from though!
