does any one what legal documents I need from Qatar to get a cat in? I already got the family cat before and it was not complicated. But now QA told me that they only let a specific breed into the country and told me I will need documents but did not tell me what these documents are. Is it true they only let specific breeds in?

Most airlines will not carry breeds like Persians (with smooshed in faces/noses) because of possible breathing problems.You will need a Qatari import certificate from the Qatar Dept of Agriculture. In order to get one, you will need proof of vaccinations (including rabies within a certain timeline) a certificate issued by the Dept of Agriculture vet in your home country specifying the animal is healthy and has all vaccinations and microchipping.A pet relocator can be of real assistance one I've used is www.qatarpetrelocators.com - they were extremely helpful.
