Bringing to Qatar our Mixed Breed Dogs

Hello Everyone,
We are going to be transferred to Qatar and need information how we can bring our Animals. We have 3 cats, 3 dogs and a Parrot. I know what you are thinking, its a zoo, but they are our children and we will not leave them behind. Our main concern is that two of our Dogs are mixed breeds, One is a mixed Pink Dobermann /White Lab and the other is a mixed german shepard / pit bull both very sweet dogs.
I know that purebreeds Dobermanns are not allowed, but what about mixed breeds ? In my case my Dog has only the Pink Dobermann markings and people do not recognize her as a Dobi, unless they know the breed. So, how do I handle this ? Any ideas ?
Also can anyone refer us to a good Vet to ask about any shots our animals need to do incase there are any local diseases in Qatar.
I am posting the pictures of our dogs on my profile so you can see them have a better idea what I'm talking about.
Thanks for your thoughts - Cheers :)
You need to be careful in describing your dogs breeds. bringing our mixed breed dogs from Cyprus (to Bahrain)we were denied shipping through Dubai because I had described one of the dogs as 'terrier". They had assumed pit bull or staffordshire when in fact he was barely 2kg in weight and a West Highland cross! Changed the description and no problem!
Actually the animal needing the most paperwork will be the parrot! Mixed breeds containing restricted breeds (dobi and pit) will also need the special permits and the parrot will need Avian Flu testing and CITES paperwork from both countries on top of the regular paperwork! It's going to be easier for you to use a pet relocator instead of trying to do all the paperwork yourself! www.qatarpetrelocators.com will be able to help you and recomend an exporter in your current sountry if you want one too... Good luck with the move (I know what it's like to have a larger then average pack)!
I think you may be in for a surprise. Have you asked your sponsor yet about bring these animals?
You will need an import permit from the Qatari Government, usually a government health report/certificate from your own country and a vet inspection within 10 (or maybe it's 14 days of travel). Just the usual shots rabies, parvo, etc. are required.
For more detailed information you can contact www.qatarpetrelocators.com. They helped me with my animals when I came to Qatar and I recommend them. They help with the Qatari paperwork too which is a real bonus.
There are vet practices that perform the same services but I didn't use them so can't comment on the standard.
you can always cheat.. :) i know many people who managed to relocate their dogs to Doha.. Rotweilers, Pitbulls, Bullterriers and Dogos..
infact I don't have any information about this but not it's 2:30 AM in qatar so I think no one will answer , so if no body answerd try to put this question again at noon in Qatar time so you would get many replys
