‘Inspired by Qatar’ conference encourages youth to realize their potential
The Youth Company (TYC) on Sunday held the first edition of “Inspired by Qatar” conference drawing together more than 200 high school and university students from across Qatar coupled with some of the nation’s leading influencers and high-profile officials.
The five-hour event, which took place at Msheireb Museums, saw a series of speeches delivered by top speakers who motivated the youth to recognize their talents and use them to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The speakers at the event included:
His Excellency the Ambassador of Panama to Qatar Oreste Del Rio Sandoval who is considered to be the youngest ambassador in country, and is currently in the process of writing a book about his experience in the country;
Al Rayan TV presenter, Saoud Al Maadeed, who also happens to be Vodafone Qatar’s Ambassador and a popular social media influencer;
A young and successful Entrepreneur and Brand Specialist, Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, who is also a personal development coach as well as mentor at Bedaya center focused on youth development in Qatar;
A triathlon athlete holding a Diploma in Sports administration, Abdullah Al Kaabi, who stresses on building a healthier society through sports;
Currently the youngest TV anchor in the country hosting a number of programs on Qatar TV, Shoug Alnaqde, who is also a media activist and social media influencer as well as owner of her own brand ‘Shoug Alnaqde;’
Graduate of HEC Paris in Qatar Business School, Dr Iman Eddbali, who has also been a presenter and writer in numerous prestigious international meetings;
A cartoonist for a daily in Qatar with the stage name “crocodile,” Abdulaziz Yousef, who has covered a various political and social topics. He has organized multiple local and international galleries and gained recognition for his work highlighting the impact of the blockade.
The speakers shared their experiences and words of encouragement with the youth covering issues such as education, sports, entrepreneurship, economy, and others.
Commenting on the event’s significance, Mariam Farid, Chief Executive Officer of TYC Qatar said, “For our youth to achieve greater things, they must have access to resources and platforms like Inspired by Qatar. As a young aspiring leader and a member of Qatar National Team, I chose to bring our youth together with the country’s top influencers to help them realize that there is so much they could do from now for their future selves, for Qatar National Vision 2030, and for the country in general.”
Inspired by Qatar, organized by The Youth Company, is hosted by Msheireb properties in partnership with Queen Hospital as the official event partner.
