working as an ex-pat nurse in doha

hello there,

My fiancee has been offered an engineering job in Doha and we are looking at the possibility of moving over.

I am an Irish nurse. I have 4 years adult nursing experience(mostly medical) in the acute setting. I will have also gained a certificate and one years experinece in intensive care nursing by the time we are due to go.

Does anyone have any information on the opportunities there? What is work like as an ex-pat nurse? Is there any nursing agencies that would be useful to contact? What are the working conditions/hospital facilities like?

We have done some research on the net, and it seems we would be better off to be married when we get there, any opinions??

We are not due to go for a while but we need to make up our minds soon to let the company know ... any info would be appreciated.

take it easy, J

hi j, there is a good opening here for your profession. with the kind of experience you have i guess you can get a job pretty soon. if your planning to live with your fiancee then you guys should get married. otherwise it could be trouble for both of you .i only have a vague idea, just putting in what i know :)

Anyways, good luck!
