Whats the problem with replies
I have a serious problem with company's not replying if you are successfull or not.
I have been phone interviewed and always being sent emails from the company' stating we will get back to you, then they will say the cv is with the owner and then the GM will say i call you but nothing. then being told we have no one but you and will get back to you very soon. how long is soon? it has been over 2months.
is it usuall for company's in qatar to have this serious attitude.
I honestly think they should either say successfull or not.
would someone tell me if they had the same problem but worked out or so?
silence means noo...dont expect..
Dear Mr.aviduser,
The Word "Inshallah" means (By Allah's Well) which means everything couldn't be happened unless God wanted it to happen..this is a true and well known fact in Islam.
And if some people use it wrongly to express the fact that they don't know or (don't bother me) are people who don't want to work or doesn't do thier work properly, so they are misusing the above mentioned fact in a way they can escape from their duties and responsibilities.
Hope I make it clear for you so we don't blame a great Islamic word like (InshaAllah), but balme the one who is misusing it.
Thanks
It seems to be common in much of the middle east (and sometimes, the far east), that even after a company thinks that they've recruited someone, somebody else in the organisation may think they can do better by recruiting for less, or someone more experienced.
It may well be a case of miscommunication within the organisation, but whatever it is, after 2 months, I would certainly broaden my horizons and apply to as many other firms as possible.
I've known a close friend of mine who was 'recruited' to the point that he had his certificates authenticated and passports made, only to find out that he hadn't been 'recruited' - the person in charge of the company claimed ignorance of where the visa could have gone!
Not to depress you, but just be pragmatic. Keep applying.
I have a few times, they will say the owner needs to sign the contract, then the Gm needs to look at it then the Gm has no idea of my Cv soforth
it doesn't do any harm to phone the company and check the status of your application - if anything it will show that you are keen and keep your name fresh in their minds. Similarly, if you find that you've not been successful, you're entitled to contact them and ask for feedback. Good luck in your search
The world of "inshallah" translated into English means "if I can be bothered"
