Hi fellas

I need your precious advise on selecting employer. Got an exciting offer from Vodafone but postition is not so charming. Mannai selected me for one of my fav role, however compensation is not upto my expectations.

Currently i need to earn as i have got few responsibilities at the same time i want to make a long term career here. Damn confused.

what would be your take on this???

My advice is Vodafone since the company is just starting here in qatar, you will be one of the pioneer and if the position is not that good its better to start somewhere im sure there will be positions that will be open in the future that you can apply normaly they give priority on internal hiring first before external.

This industry is better than the other, communication company is least affected during crisis there for i think it would be a good choice

Hello there

Well i am a little unlucky fellow. I am still searching for a job. Due to some unfavourable reasons i was not able to join any of them.

Here in Doha, Customer Service roles are rarest jobs found. But keep trying you never know when things might change here.

Hahahahahahahah..... I completely understand your point ONE. I wish the labor laws get a little employee friendly here.

I dont know why there are so many hassles here in Qatar regarding resignations, NOC and joining employer of choice.

I have earlier worked for HSBC and GE in India as a Cust Serv Rep and i know after couple of months this job becomes monotonous and the glamor fades as the time passes. I dont mean that i never liked it, but reality remains unchanged.

On the other hand what i have been offered in Mannai is related to Admin role and i am pretty confident that the position brings challenges and excitement everyday. And a lot of scope of managerial skills development.

Thank you everyone for helping me. Now the decision lies in my parents hand as they always helped me in choosing me the best.

If anyone want assistance in joining Vodafone in Cust Serv Role, please feel free to contact me at 6269817. I will try my level best to guide you. Rest is in God's hands.

mayubhussain...

how long will your fav role remain fav to you... had it been me, i wud look for a different challenge if the offer was exciting enough... besides the extra money is going to be useful to you as of now coz you need it...

but if you think that there won't be job satisfaction in the vodafone job, then go for what makes you happy... money ain't everything!

vodafone, is a multi national company, with vision, mission and values, theyr dedicated to this values, also they are new in the market and i expect to do whatever is humanly possible to penetrate the market, meanwhile as multinational company and with current world crisis, employee cut off is valid( if you see what i mean)

its a risk, but as for myself, i would go 4 voda:)
