Urgent Help for a Job Offer

Hey Guys , this is my first time posting and i would really appreciate if someone would help me decide on this job offer in Qatar .

company : one of the biggest automotive companies
Position : Credit Analyst
basic salary : 4250
housing : 3200
transportation : 1000
Mobile : 300
---------------------
total : 8750

I`m a 3 year retail credit analyst currently working in the banking sector in Jordan , ive passed the CFA level I exam , I`m a candidate for the CFA level II exam june 2013 .

is this offer acceptable for living a modest life in Qatar and gradually saving for the future ??

If the contract is only a year, it might be worth thinking about to get your foot in the door. You can network when you get here and likely make the connections you need to take your career to the next level in Year 2.

Salaries r getting worse in qatar as they now hold the market and every1 wants to come here as they know labour is required here. So if you don't work for a govermental institute, private companies or smaller business can dictate your income. Ultimately u can decide wht it is u wanna do it is either yes or no. If u don't take it they can get some1 else at half tht price from places like India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan...and the list go on and on and on

as a single guy u can live a modest life with no much savings, u can negotiate for more salary or at least an increment after the probation period

but once u will be getting ur CFA u should not accept offers less than Qr. 12,000

in reply to spybot ; my main duties revolve around analyzing retail loan applications ( personal loans , housing , auto loans ) and making a credit decision .

the company is very lucky for you, imagine you can't even get your family for visit visa, 5k min. for visit & 10k for family res. visa.
