hi friends...i need your advice. i am a teacher with degree in education. currenty im working in one primary school in Asean country and it has been for 3 years. however, im thinking of exploring teaching experience in Qatar or at least contribute something in Qatar education system.... my question is: will there be opportunities for me to settle down in Qatar with secure salaryand position? what are the best ways for me to achieve my target in becoming a tecaher there? your advice is appreciated, thanks......
off the record it is easier if you here in person for such jobs!
thanks guys, for the responce so far. however i still have some doubt. lets say i go to Dubai/Qatar on visit visa and do the job hunting, then where or to whom should I send my CV to? i mean, is it a good option for me to go directly to the schools and submit my CV to the administration? should i approach any agencies/ministries office?
I would appreciate your advice........thanks
rania he is just kidding :)
Britexpat behave yourself :-)
rania like everyone else here best is that you apply to schools and try to secure a job offer and then you can come and work here.
who is this UkEngQatar?
I am sure if you sent UkEngQatar your photo and then come over and stayed with him. he will try and give you a hand..
since you are using my thread, so half of the sales income should come to me as my commission :D
those advertisement on the middle east normally want the 'native speaker'...so my chance is very limited if i were to apply via sites............. no Qatar is not the only country...but still most part of middle east want native speakers........ :)
but thats risky.....im scared im gonna run out of money and still not being hired........ :S
owh if thats the case, then they prefer to hire the local qatari as it can reduce their expenses on sponcership...am i right??
is it legel for people to work in qatar under visit visa?
Sammy, You should first arrange a visa for her (Palestinian as per profile).
