Opportunities for Business Development and marketing for women in the workplace

Am moving from Kuala Lumpur to Doha. Will be on my husband's visa.

Am an engineer with an MBA with diverse experience in marketing, business development, franchising, brand launch and research in varied industries like oil & gas, retail and communications.

My recent work has been the set up and successful launch of an Australian Italian restaurant chain in Malaysia.

I have been applying to portals like Monster, Bayt etc but no luck so far. Some people tell me to wait till I get to Doha which is in July.

My questions to you are:

1. Is the country open to women in marketing and business development. Most of the jobs I see are technical in nature. Unfortunately I have digressed from my technical qualifications!

2. Do any of you know of head hunters, HR professionals etc, I could send my CV to?
